My son is [name_u]Everett[/name_u]. Until recently, my top name for a boy was [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u], but I’m getting cold feet. I’m concerned it will become the next [name_u]Taylor[/name_u] (more girls than boys), and I really dislike [name_u]Taylor[/name_u] (for that reason).
To me, [name_u]Everett[/name_u] and [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u] just GO together. They are perfect.
Now, I am considering [name_m]Miles[/name_m]. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think [name_u]Everett[/name_u] and [name_m]Miles[/name_m] fit together as well?
I absolutely love [name_u]Everett[/name_u] & [name_m]Miles[/name_m] together! I like them as a sibset even more than [name_u]Everett[/name_u] & [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u]. [name_u]Everett[/name_u] & [name_m]Miles[/name_m] are both very versatile names with a distinguished but down to earth feel. They feel both sophisticated and sort of southern down to earth at the same time. [name_m]Miles[/name_m] brings out both of these qualities in [name_u]Everett[/name_u], while [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u] is missing the sophistication for me, it’s more just rugged. [name_u]Everett[/name_u] & [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u] feel more matchy to me versus complimentary. I also think you are absolutely right that [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u] could very well become more popular for girls than boys and become the next [name_u]Taylor[/name_u]. I vote for [name_m]Miles[/name_m], although I do see why you like [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u] & [name_u]Everett[/name_u] so much!
[name_u]Everett[/name_u] and [name_m]Miles[/name_m] work pretty well as a sibset, but I think [name_u]Everett[/name_u] and [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u] work absolutely perfectly together. [name_m]Miles[/name_m] just pales in comparison to [name_u]Everett[/name_u] or [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u]. I don’t think [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u] will ever be as popular as [name_u]Taylor[/name_u] was! Plus, [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u] is still almost 3-4x more popular for boys than girls. In 2014, it was #110 for boys and #344 for girls; in 2015 it was #94 for boys and #260 for girls so it’s still not even close to following in [name_u]Taylor[/name_u]'s footsteps. Good luck!
