I prefer [name_u]Evan[/name_u]. I’m getting a bit fed up with [name_m]Andrew[/name_m], I know too many. Plus I love [name_m]Evander[/name_m], and [name_u]Evan[/name_u] is okay.

I’d go with [name_u]Evan[/name_u] because it feels like a better match with [name_f]Karisa[/name_f] and [name_f]Kalena[/name_f]. I think both work fine with your last name.

I prefer [name_u]Evan[/name_u]. It is handsome and modern. [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] is classic but a little boring for my tastes. Really, you can’t go wrong with either.

As a side note, I think andrew sounds better with your last name.

Well, this is the type of list I was looking for just to be sure I have not overlooked a name. I have commented on all the usable names for us. The rest are already taken in our family. Thank you for listing these out. This was a helpful post.

I read these to my DH. He agreed with all of your comments and we are finding this poll and comments very helpful as we consider what other’s perception is of these names we may choose. Please, we would love to hear more feedback of what each of you thinks. Thanks for all your help Berries. Maybe this will motivate my husband to actually choose one of these ;).

I personally prefer [name_m]Andrew[/name_m]. Classic. Works for a child or man. I think [name_u]Evan[/name_u] sounds childish and a bit feminine, hence the increasingly popular trend of [name_u]Evan[/name_u] as girl’s name…check out the most recent SSA name list, it’s a trend that has been steadily growing for the past several years. It is becoming a unisex name, which is fine, but something to consider.
Or, have you considered a compromise? [name_u]Evan[/name_u] [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] or [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] [name_u]Evan[/name_u].

I prefer [name_m]Andrew[/name_m]. It’s a classic, like your son’s name. You can’t go wrong. There is also the Biblical element which they have in common. [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] has nicknames if you ever feel the need for one.

[name_u]Evan[/name_u] is nice, but not my cup of tea. It’s still classic, but has a trendy sound.

Thanks for your input. I think you misread. [name_f]My[/name_f] husband’s name is [name_m]Paul[/name_m]. [name_m]Just[/name_m] wanted to clear that up so there is no confusion.
