Hello there, I do like [name]Claudia[/name] and [name]Penelope[/name] together but I agree you would probably have to stick with longer names if you have more children. I love [name]Ivy[/name] and [name]Mae[/name] (have you changed the spelling to [name]May[/name]?). [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Morgan[/name] and [name]Mae[/name] [name]Morgan[/name] just sound really spunky to me. Would you mind [name]Claudie[/name] and [name]Ivy[/name] as siblings together?

[name]Hi[/name] [name]Mischa[/name], yes I changed, the spelling to [name]May[/name] since my step niece who is being born this summer will be called [name]Brooke[/name]-[name]Mae[/name]. And also [name]May[/name] was my original favourite and now I think I just prefer this classic spelling.

I don’t mind a [name]Claudie[/name] and an [name]Ivy[/name] as sisters, 1 because really they’d be [name]Claudia[/name] and [name]Ivy[/name], and 2 because I’m more concerned with picking the names I love most rather than worrying about matching endings. Well that’s not completely true, I still think about it, it’s just not my priority.

[name]Claudia[/name] and [name]Penelope[/name] nn [name]Claudie[/name] and [name]Nell[/name] is perfect as a set, but I might love [name]Ivy[/name] as a name more. And then I feel like I really want to use the unusual [name]Mirabel[/name] before someone else I know does! Lol. Is that silly? Plus [name]Ivy[/name] and [name]Penelope[/name] are on the rise here in the Uk. I think [name]Ivy[/name] could break top 100 as it reminds me of [name]Lily[/name] but I think [name]Penelope[/name] divides opinions too much to get that popular - I could be wrong though!

And then there’s sweet little [name]May[/name], so simple and cute. Plus I have straight black hair and olive skin and my partners quite dark too and that’s how I picture a [name]May[/name] looking!

Ahh I can’t decide - might add a poll later. Thanks!

my favorite is [name]Penelope[/name] with [name]Claudia[/name]. They are perfect together.

Thank you!

And thanks for the votes, keep them coming and if you don’t have time to comment please just vote  I’d love to see a clear winner!

I really love them all ([name]Mirabel[/name] has always been a favorite), but I chose [name]Ivy[/name] because I associate [name]Claudia[/name] with English tea and hats; [name]Ivy[/name] is a lovely compliment to that image, without being too matchy-matchy. Hmmm, I love having boys, but it’s so much more fun to name girls!

I was really stuck between [name]Mirabel[/name] & [name]Penelope[/name] but in the end chose [name]Mirabel[/name]. Now, if you end up having three little girls [name]Claudia[/name], [name]Mirabel[/name], and [name]Penelope[/name] are SUPERB.

I love the idea of sisters [name]Claudia[/name] and [name]Penelope[/name]. I think [name]Mirabel[/name] would match just fine with them. [name]Therese[/name] or [name]Theresa[/name] NN [name]Tess[/name]/[name]Tessa[/name] is always an option too. I kind of really like [name]Claudie[/name], [name]Nell[/name] and [name]Tess[/name].

[name]Hi[/name]!

I choose [name]Penelope[/name]. [name]Mirabel[/name] was a close second.
I think of [name]Claudia[/name] as pretty without being super frilly and feminine but strong. It is also an elegant name. For me, [name]Penelope[/name] has those same qualities and would therefore be my pick. That and the fact that I love the name [name]Penelope[/name]! [name]Mirabel[/name] would also be a lovely match. It plays to the feminine side of [name]Claudia[/name] a little more and [name]Penelope[/name] to the sophisticated side. I do like [name]May[/name], [name]Ivy[/name] and [name]Tess[/name] but they are a little different in style. With the first two, in particular, I think they will become (or have become) part of the trend for old lady/ flower names. I happen to like both of these types of name but you may find that they sound more dated in time than [name]Mirabel[/name], [name]Claudia[/name] and [name]Penelope[/name], although it is difficult to be certain.

[name]Hi[/name] [name]Laura[/name],

I know I said I’d vote, but I love them all! So I’ve just enjoyed reading everyone else’s opinions, instead

[name]Auburn[/name]

[name]Hi[/name] [name]Laura[/name], I’m sorry but I couldn’t pick one either:( To me, they are all very ‘you’ if you get what I mean. My personal favourite is [name]May[/name] though, but I don’t know which one that’s the best match for [name]Claudie[/name]. [name]May[/name] seems a little short when compared to [name]Claudia[/name], but it’s such a pretty name! I like the sound of [name]Claudia[/name] and [name]Penelope[/name] together, but all your picks are so pretty and nice, lol.

[name]Claudia[/name] & [name]Penelope[/name] - miiight be my fave for you, actually.
[name]Claudia[/name] & [name]May[/name] - love it, but if I would have been a [name]May[/name] and my sister [name]Claudia[/name], I might have been jealous as a child that my sister got the longer name (well, I was a bit jealous that my brother got 3 names and I only 2  ). I’m wrestling with this issue with my own top picks as well. But we’ve all got our hangups, don’t we
[name]Claudia[/name] & [name]Mirabel[/name] - very pretty
[name]Claudia[/name] & [name]Ivy[/name]- also a bit short next to [name]Claudia[/name]
[name]Claudia[/name] & [name]Tessa[/name] - [name]Tessa[/name]'s pretty, but only a nn here, so to me it seems a bit insubstantial.

So, [name]Claudia[/name] & [name]Penelope[/name] would be my top pick, I guess. If you’d ever have three daughters, my top picks for you would probably be [name]Claudia[/name] ([name]Claudie[/name]), [name]Penelope[/name] ([name]Nell[/name]) and [name]Mirabel[/name] ([name]May[/name]). Perfect!

I love [name]Claudia[/name] and [name]Tess[/name] as a sibset. They go together great but are distinct from one another.

Thanks for all the opinions!

Looks like [name]Mirabel[/name] is the winner with [name]Penelope[/name] just slightly behind and [name]Ivy[/name] the 3rd fav. These are most probably my top 3 too. I could definitely remove [name]Tess[/name] and [name]Tessa[/name], but removing [name]May[/name] from the list is a little harder for me so I’ll hang on to it for now while I decide if I could live with just using it as a nn for [name]Mirabel[/name]!

I try not to worry too much about the length of the names in comparison to each other as there’s nothing to say that I wouldn’t have a girl, then a boy, then a girl, or any other combination of genders - and most of my favourite boys names are 2 syllables anyway.

Thanks though this has helped a lot! Any more votes, opinions or suggestions still welcome
