[name_f]Violet[/name_f]. I think for some the two middles is a bit much (not all, just some). Sometimes you have to let a unique choice stand on its own merits and let it shine through. By having 3 unusual names, the beauty of each is obscured.
I love the addition of [name_u]Bliss[/name_u], [name_f]Hope[/name_f], [name_f]Belle[/name_f], [name_f]Isla[/name_f], [name_u]Sage[/name_u], [name_f]Oceana[/name_f] & [name_f]Aurora[/name_f]. But I’m not keen on [name_f]Edith[/name_f]…have no idea why…I actually love the E sound on a name i.e. [name_u]Evan[/name_u], [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f], [name_f]Eve[/name_f] etc…but just not into [name_f]Edith[/name_f]. Also, prefer Maebry to [name_f]Maeby[/name_f] & [name_f]Titania[/name_f] to [name_f]Tatiana[/name_f]…however, I do love the [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] [name_f]Summer[/name_f] [name_u]Rain[/name_u] name combination…adding [name_f]Summer[/name_f] to [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] and [name_u]Rain[/name_u] really elevates the vibe…making it more positive than macabre…love it!!! Cheers xx
Yes, it would be nice to keep it simple. I can do this with my favorite boy’s name [name_m]Ulysses[/name_m]. It just captures everything I love about a name - look, sound, history, connotations etc. However, it’s impossible to find a girl’s name that I can be “still” with for more than a few days…in the beginning of my search, I loved [name_f]Violet[/name_f] (my partner’s Grandmother’s name)…but my partner loves [name_u]Sky[/name_u] & [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] (I think they’re very nice names but I prefer [name_f]Violet[/name_f]…besides, a family member has made first dibs on [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] - which is great!)…however, I’ve returned to some old faves like [name_f]India[/name_f], [name_f]Demelza[/name_f], [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] and [name_f]Bronte[/name_f] as well as discovered some new gems like [name_f]Ferelith[/name_f] (which I re-fashioned as Fairylithe), [name_f]Godiva[/name_f], Nightingale, [name_f]Titania[/name_f] etc…so unless I fiind a name/ combination of names that completely satisfies me like the name [name_m]Ulysses[/name_m], my girl will have not just three names but quite a few more…but I do get what you’re saying and do agree, that yes, if you can feel satisfied with less names, it’s best to keep it simple. Cheers xx
PS I also had my heart set on [name_f]Bellatrix[/name_f]…but my nieces & nephews vetoed this glorius name because of the HP character…my search would had been over quickly otherwise…love this name on par with Ulysses…
