I think [name]Evelyn[/name] and [name]Thomas[/name] would make a wonderful sib-set. Second choice would be [name]Jack[/name], I’m not a fan of [name]Walter[/name] or [name]Dawson[/name].

In general, [name]Jack[/name] would be my first choice, but taking into consideration the family connection with [name]Dawson[/name], I voted for that. I think family names or honor names trump simple, flat out, personal preference. And, [name]Dawson[/name] IS a really cool name :slight_smile:

I voted for [name]Thomas[/name]. I like your nn options which are cute for a little boy but he would still have the full name option. I rather like the combo [name]Thomas[/name] [name]Dawson[/name].

FYI - First names that end in “s” can only run into surnames that begin with a vowel not a consonant (with the exception of a surname begining with “S” which means [name]Thomas[/name] M is fine. :slight_smile:

Can’t deside between [name]Walter[/name], [name]Thomas[/name], and [name]Charles[/name]! I love them all!

I love the idea of [name]Evelyn[/name] and [name]Walter[/name]. [name]Jack[/name] was my runner up.

[name]Dawson[/name] got my vote. It’s cute but strong and not too popular plus has the history in your family.

I think [name]Walter[/name] or [name]Charles[/name] goes best with [name]Evelyn[/name] since they are both classic and strong. I voted for [name]Walter[/name] because I prefer that their nns don’t rhyme. [name]Jack[/name] goes nicely with [name]Evie[/name], but I think it needs a longer form so you can use [name]Jack[/name] as the nn. Unfortunately, I don’t have any suggestions for you other than [name]John[/name] or [name]Jonathan[/name] though.

Thank you, everyone :slight_smile: Well, thanks to everyone’s input, we’ve decided to remove [name]Jonah[/name] from our list. And still can’t figure out what to do about [name]Jack[/name]. DH is THRILLED that his dad’s name “won” the poll… I’m still waiting/hoping for a name to come along that will wow [name]BOTH[/name] of us…
