Please vote, thanks so much!

So after all your lovely advice I would love to put it down to a vote. [name]Lorcan[/name], [name]Gregor[/name] and:

[name]Willa[/name]
[name]Sage[/name]
[name]Hazel[/name]
[name]Ivy[/name]
[name]Sadie[/name]

Thank you!! x

I like [name]Ivy[/name] or [name]Sage[/name].

As I’ve said before,

[name]Willa[/name] - love the feel but the ‘a’ ending is a bit similar to the ‘or’ ending of [name]Gregor[/name] in my accent
[name]Sage[/name] - too much ‘g’ when put with [name]Gregor[/name], making the set unbalanced? [name]LOVE[/name] this, though
[name]Hazel[/name] - love this but do [name]Hazel[/name] and [name]Gregor[/name] sound a little like [name]Hansel[/name] and [name]Gretel[/name]?!
[name]Ivy[/name] - special significance to us; is it too plain and mainstream comparatively?
[name]Sadie[/name] - a little plain in the context of the set?

Thanks x

Thank you x

[name]Hazel[/name] or [name]Ivy[/name]. [name]Said[/name] in their birth order- [name]Lorcan[/name], [name]Gregor[/name] and [name]Hazel[/name]- I would never think of [name]Hansel[/name] & [name]Gretel[/name]. And it would just be something to smile about if someone did say it.

Thank you!

[name]Willa[/name] is my favorite to go with [name]Lorcan[/name] and [name]Gregor[/name]. The others just don’t seem to fit in my opinion.

[name]Lorcan[/name], [name]Gregor[/name] & [name]Sadie[/name]!

I like:

  1. [name]Willa[/name] – I don’t find the a ending to similar to the or ending.
  2. [name]Ivy[/name] – I don’t find this plain at all! Very pretty and soft. [name]Iris[/name] is another you might like.
  3. [name]Hazel[/name] – I don’t think [name]Hansel[/name] and [name]Gretel[/name] is such a big deal. The kids won in the end right? It’s no different than other literary connections people use, and I didn’t even get that until i read them [name]Hazel[/name] and [name]Gregor[/name] instead of [name]Gregor[/name] and [name]Hazel[/name].

[name]Ivy[/name] is my favorite girl’s name ever, and I love it with your sibset! My second choice would be [name]Hazel[/name].

Thank you, I think we are favoring [name]Ivy[/name], too. But do you think it is ok to have two very unusual boys names (to the point that people will exclaim, “oh! I’ve never heard that before!”) and then a very familiar girl name (that everyone has heard of)? I think that’s the only niggling issue stopping me from commiting to [name]Ivy[/name]. It seems slightly unbalanced to have something so familiar with two such unfamiliar names. Kind of like my style is all over the place? Incidentally, what style would you call a sibset of [name]Lorcan[/name], [name]Gregor[/name] and [name]Ivy[/name]? I do love the nature-inspired, wild plant imagery of [name]Ivy[/name] with the rugged windswept feeling I get from [name]Lorcan[/name] and [name]Gregor[/name] (I imagine Irish and Scottish hills and forests…). I get the same feeling from [name]Sage[/name] as I do from [name]Ivy[/name], of nature and ruggedness, but I’m not sure about all the ‘G’! I guess it boils down to:

[name]Ivy[/name] - love, but too familiar?
[name]Sage[/name] - love, definitely not too familiar, but too much G? [name]GreGor[/name] and saGe??
What ‘style’ do we have going on here?
x

I love [name]Ivy[/name] with [name]Lorcan[/name] & [name]Gregor[/name]. I don’t think [name]Ivy[/name] is too familiar at all. And [name]Gregor[/name] isn’t unheard of, in my opinion at least. [name]Lorcan[/name] is the lease familiar but I still don’t think it’s an issue. If you named your 3rd child [name]Sage[/name], I wouldn’t know if it was a girl or a boy without seeing the child. Go with [name]Ivy[/name]!!!

Thank you so much for the definitive answer! I so need someone to just tell me what to do at this point!!Thank you!! What sort of style would you call this sibset?

[name]Sadie[/name] gets my vote.

With [name]Lorcan[/name] and [name]Gregor[/name], I think these names would be lovely.

1 [name]Willa[/name]
2 [name]Ivy[/name]
3 [name]Hazel[/name]

willa or hazel

[name]Sage[/name] is my favorite. [name]Ivy[/name] and [name]Hazel[/name] are a close second. I don’t like [name]Willa[/name] or [name]Sadie[/name].

I vote for [name]Ivy[/name]; I think it works well with [name]Lorcan[/name] and [name]Gregor[/name]. I also like [name]Sadie[/name], but not sure it fits with the name style.

[name]Hazel[/name], or [name]Ivy[/name]

I think [name]Willa[/name] goes great!
