I voted for [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] but my second vote would go to [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]. Both names go wonderfully with the siblings.
My vote goes to the classic and beautiful, [name_f]Alice[/name_f]. [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_f]Alice[/name_f] make such darling sisters, and [name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] and [name_f]Alice[/name_f] are perfect for each other as a whole! Now, idk if you pronounce [name_f]Violet[/name_f] the same way as me (silent o), but if you do - then I love the fact they’d all be 2 syllables as well!
My second vote would go to [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] with the x sounds too harsh next to the softer [name_m]Hugo[/name_m]. It doesn’t flow as well with [name_f]Violet[/name_f] either, but [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] absolutely does!
[name_f]Madeleine[/name_f], [name_f]Clara[/name_f], [name_f]Elowen[/name_f], and [name_u]Blair[/name_u] would be beautiful with [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_m]Hugo[/name_m].
I voted for [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f], but [name_f]Alice[/name_f] would be lovely too.
It was so difficult to only choose one as I love [name_f]Alice[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f], and [name_f]Daphne[/name_f]!
I voted for [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] but [name_f]Alice[/name_f] matches as well!
I voted for [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]–it has the same soft, vintage, and spunky vibe that I get from [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_m]Hugo[/name_m].
Also, I’ve noticed you around here for a long time now and I just have to say that I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] your children’s names. They’re so beautiful and classy. I’m excited to see what you choose for #3. Best wishes.
Congratulations @sarahmezz!
[name_u]Love[/name_u] your taste, as ever. These are my favourites for you, ranked:
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f]: It’s soft and sweet but undeniably strong, and shares the length and gentle vintage vibe of the other two names. It’s also familiar, but with a little bit of a quirky-retro edge, just like the sib names.
[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]: [name_u]Love[/name_u] this, and my reasons are pretty much exactly the same as the above. I’ve ranked this one just slightly below [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] because 1) it feels a little bit more specifically [name_m]French[/name_m] than the more classically vintage [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_m]Hugo[/name_m], and 2) when I considered this for my #3, someone commented that it was a bit too much of a “baby sister” name – almost too soft and sweet. I love it, but I kind of see the point for a younger/youngest child. [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] both do seem a little more solid and substantial to me.
[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]: I really love this name! I do find it a bit spiky and edgy compared to the big sibs, but I kind of like that, actually!
[name_f]Susannah[/name_f]: Gorgeous, underused classic. I absolutely love this name, and all of its nicknames. My first reaction was that it’s a little longer than the other two, which is literally the only reason why it’s ranked lower than most of your two-syllable picks, purely because all of these are so perfect for your set!
[name_f]Alice[/name_f]: A sweet and solid classic, you really can’t go wrong with a name as timeless and sophisticated as [name_f]Alice[/name_f]. However, it doesn’t excite me as much as some of your other options, simply because it’s proved a pretty timeless choice, and so has been quite popular for a long time now. Stylistically and in terms of sound, however, it’s perfect with [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_m]Hugo[/name_m].
I am really torn between [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] with [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] as close third!
I agree with @trulybrilliant; Violet, Hugo and Alice make a beautiful, two-syllabled set but Sylvie would be gorgeous too.
I am torn between [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] and [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]. Both are wonderful.
I love [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] as a sib choice! Feminine and vintage, but with that same hidden spunk that [name_f]Violet[/name_f] has.
I voted [name_f]Daphne[/name_f], as she kept calling my name, but [name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_m]Hugo[/name_m], and [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] is pretty great, too!
My vote goes to [name_f]Alice[/name_f], but I also think [name_f]Audrey[/name_f], [name_f]Clara[/name_f], [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] or [name_f]Florence[/name_f] would fit nicely!
I think they are all lovely, and any of them would work. I voted for [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]. [name_f]Violet[/name_f] has the cool V, [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] has the trendy O, [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] would get the X. [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] & [name_f]Susanna[/name_f] are my personal least favourite (just cuz they’re name I don’t really like), so that puts [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] & [name_f]Alice[/name_f] tied for 2nd for me.
I voted [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f], I’m loving this name right now and think it goes lovely with [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_m]Hugo[/name_m]. It was a hard pick though because I also love [name_f]Alice[/name_f], such a beautiful classic. I really like [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] too, gorgeous and has lovely nickname potential in [name_f]Bea[/name_f] and [name_f]Trixie[/name_f]. Look forward to hearing what you decide!
I love [name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] and [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] together. My second choice is [name_f]Susannah[/name_f].
[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] and [name_f]Alice[/name_f] are perfect with [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_m]Hugo[/name_m]! [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] would also work well. Another that I think would work wonderfully is [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]/[name_f]Nell[/name_f]. [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] would be great, too. Good luck!
I love [name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] and [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]! My second choice would be [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] or [name_f]Alice[/name_f]. [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] is also gorgeous but I think [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] works a little better. I love [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] but it feels a bit harsh next to flowery and purply [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and soft [name_m]Hugo[/name_m]. I would also suggest [name_f]Clara[/name_f], [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] or [name_f]Noemi[/name_f] for you :). You have named your two children beautifully and I can’t wait to hear what your 3rd will be named!!
