Oh my gosh, I’ve been so frustrated trying to figure out the DH, DS, DD thing. I know all the others, but for some reason, I just could not get those. Like, I assumed it meant husband, son, and daughter, but I just could not for the life of me figure out what the D in front of them meant. Thanks:)
Also, with this being a name board, I thought I’d mention that FN, MN, LN, and NN all mean first, middle, last, and (nick) name respectively.
I’ve also seen OP for “original post” or “original poster,” and FWIW for “for what it’s worth.”
LOL! Me too. I was always trying to figure what the d was for. I know dh,etc was referring to Husband, daughter, etc. So thanks Dantea:)

I know that LOL doesn’t mean lots of love but that is what I read every time I see it, so once and for all what does it mean!
LOL is “laugh out loud”. I’ve also seen my younger cousins writing LUL on facebook, which apparently means “lame uncomfortable laugh”. Yikes!

It’s stupid to put a D in front of S, D, H, etc. Why can’t everybody just say S, D, and H?
