Neither name is my style and neither is ideal with the mn [name]Garland[/name] but I voted for [name]Barrett[/name]. Have you considered [name]Bennett[/name]?
I voted [name]Keenan[/name] simply because I feel it’s a lot more gentle than [name]Barrett[/name] (and a gun related name is sorta iffy), though either name is a good choice. I like that idea of the family middle name, but Kennan [name]Garland[/name] H sounds like too many Ns and [name]Barrett[/name] [name]Garland[/name] H is a mouthful.
[name]Just[/name] my opinion,
[name]Kathryn[/name]!
mischa I like your suggestion very much.
Another option is [name]Keaton[/name] if you want a K name.
rollo
Yeah, the middle name is not ideal in any way, but I’m working with 6 generations of Garlands here. The middle name will be [name]Garland[/name]. We’ve considered [name]Bennett[/name]. It’s actually my second choice, but it’s farther down on the list for my husband. We aren’t particurly wanting a K name. I’m not even sure where my husband came up with [name]Keenan[/name], but I’ll run [name]Keaton[/name] by him.
I voted for [name]Barrett[/name]. It sounds like a very strong, solid name that will age well. I like [name]Keenan[/name], but it sounds more like a name for a little boy [name]IMO[/name].
I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Barrett[/name]! It was on my girl’s list for years way back when I was in high school. Never thought about it for a boy, but I could definitely see it! You may like:

P.S. I love [name]Garland[/name] (though for a girl). That, too, was on my girl’s list back in high school, but now my married name begins with a D.
I chose [name]Barrett[/name] because I like the meaning of the name.
I much prefer [name]Barrett[/name]
I know you may know the gun related menaing of [name]Barrett[/name] but in reality, not many people are either going to know that or make that association to your son. I agree with [name]Keenan[/name] sounding a little to trendy.
