My favourite name on your poll is [name]Cassius[/name] followed by [name]Abram[/name] and [name]Seth[/name]. [name]Cassius[/name] [name]Daniel[/name] would be wonderful. I don’t know if any one name is better for a dark haired boy. The only modern image I have of the name [name]Cassius[/name] is of boxer [name]Cassius[/name] [name]Marcellus[/name] [name]Clay[/name] [name]Jr[/name]. who changed his name to [name]Muhammed[/name] [name]Ali[/name] after converting to Islam.

Thank you! I just wanted to put a picture in people’s head of what he’d look like so they realize it’s a real person and not just a name on a website.

The [name]Cassius[/name] I’m thinking of is the antagonist from [name]Julius[/name] [name]Cesar[/name] by [name]Shakespeare[/name]. I get he is the antagonist but I really love the name, and the nickname [name]Cash[/name].

For sheer moxy I like [name]Absalom[/name]-- the meaning of the name is nice, and you have a strong literary reference in the form of the [name]Faulkner[/name] book (though that book was frankly too hard for me to decipher). I think [name]Absalom[/name] in the OT was the guy whose long hair tangled in tree branches and unseated him off his horse, correct?

I also think [name]Cassius[/name] is very hip. I love both the classical as well as the sporting associations, and think [name]Cash[/name] is fun.

Since [name]Kenneth[/name] has a strong private meaning for you, and a family association, it seems like those reasons alone would bump it to the top. Perhaps you could combine [name]Kenneth[/name] with one of the others-- [name]Kenneth[/name] [name]Absalom[/name], [name]Cassius[/name] [name]Kenneth[/name]?

The biblical [name]Absalom[/name] did come with a lot of baggage ( didn’t he kill his brother for raping their sister?).

[name]Kenneth[/name] is one of those names that was so popular with the [name]Baby[/name] Boomer’s parents, but that later generations seem to have abandoned. Maybe it’s time for a renaissance.

I’ve always loved [name]Kenneth[/name]! [name]Kenneth[/name] [name]Daniel[/name] would be an extremely handsome name, imo. [name]Seth[/name] is also a winner.

I vote for [name]Cassius[/name], [name]Daniel[/name], or [name]Seth[/name].

[name]Kenneth[/name], is tiresome for me. I know someone who named her kids, K3nny (I always thought it was short for [name]Kenneth[/name]), K3ndall, and K3nya.

I love [name]Seth[/name] and [name]Cassius[/name]! [name]Seth[/name] might make it on to my list and [name]Cadmus[/name] (similar) is already there. None of them are bad, but I think these two are the best combination of interesting and usable.

Thank you all so much!
