This is the question for me! No one else even needs to answer :wink: I’ve spent my LIFE deciding which of these two I prefer. Both are absolutely 10/10 perfect names. No questions asked. They both have gorgeous meanings and such sweet sounds. They’re just perfect! (PS I decided [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f]. I want a baby [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] one day!)

I think both names are lovely but I prefer [name_f]Delilah[/name_f]. Despite [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] being a biblical temptress and my mum completely disapproving off this choice as a result (I’ve tried giving her the feminist spin she’s not having it) I think [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] is gorgeous. [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] is happy sounding has a great flow and I really like the [name_f]Lila[/name_f] nickname. So I voted for [name_f]Delilah[/name_f]!

Definitely Delilah! It’s sweet, feminine, and classic. I think it has such a soft lovely flow and is charming without being childish. I also think Dee and Lila/Lilah are such cute nicknames. :heart_eyes:

I personally am not a huge fan of Dahlia. I don’t love the way it looks and the emphasis on the first syllable always comes off as either harsh or a bit snooty to me depending on how it’s said. There’s nothing wrong with this name, it’s just nms, so I definitely prefer Delilah!
