So after months of deliberation, we have it narrowed down to two names. We love both but there can only be one. [name]Samara[/name] [name]Lynn[/name] vs [name]Madelyn[/name] [name]Grace[/name]…your thoughts!!!
[name]Samara[/name] [name]Lynn[/name]! [name]Samara[/name] is fresh and springy and pretty, and [name]Lynn[/name] is kind of dated but not really bad. [name]Madelyn[/name] is boring, and not as classic as [name]Madeleine[/name] (mad-uh-line) and [name]Grace[/name] is a “filler” middle. All in all, [name]Samara[/name] is much more unexpected and fun.
I would pick any name over [name]Madelyn[/name] [name]Grace[/name], probably one of the most common combos out there right now! [name]Samara[/name] is much nicer anyway.
[name]Samara[/name] [name]Lyn[/name] trumps [name]Madelyn[/name] [name]Grace[/name] any day, but neither are really my cup of tea.
I agree that [name]Samara[/name] is definitely more unique which is why it was my original choice…any fresh ideas on the middle name? I like [name]Lynn[/name] cuz it flows well and ties it all together, [name]Samara[/name] [name]Lynn[/name] Reineman ( rye-nuh-men). But suggestions are welcome
I do agree with [name]Samara[/name] but I would find a more unique (read: non-filler) middle name. Ideas:
[name]Samara[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] Reineman
[name]Samara[/name] [name]Aveline[/name] Reineman
[name]Samara[/name] [name]Vivienne[/name] Reineman
[name]Samara[/name] [name]Colette[/name] Reineman
[name]Samara[/name] [name]Elise[/name] Reineman
[name]Samara[/name] [name]Zoe[/name] Reineman
[name]Samara[/name] [name]Eve[/name] Reineman
[name]Samara[/name] [name]Madeleine[/name] Reineman
etc
I’d pick [name]Samara[/name] too as [name]Madeline[/name] is over the top popular.
[name]Samara[/name] [name]June[/name]
[name]Samara[/name] [name]Eve[/name]
[name]Samara[/name] [name]Brynn[/name] (fresher than [name]Lynn[/name])
[name]Samara[/name] [name]Rae[/name]
[name]Samara[/name] [name]Wren[/name]
[name]Samara[/name] [name]Maisie[/name]
[name]Samara[/name] [name]Reese[/name]
[name]Samara[/name] [name]Elise[/name]
My big thing with the middle name is I want to keep it one syllable as it ties the first & last name together a little better and also I don’t want to deter or take anything away from the first name by overpowering it with a bunch of syllables… lol does that make sense?
Hmmm I did consider [name]Brynn[/name] as an alternative to [name]Lynn[/name]!
[name]Samara[/name] hands down. I like [name]Samara[/name] [name]Brynn[/name].
[name]Samara[/name] for sure. There are too many Madelyns (and all the spelling variations) running around these days.
[name]Samara[/name] [name]Lynn[/name] is a beautiful name.
I really like [name]Samara[/name] [name]Lynn[/name], but my other half really likes [name]Samara[/name] [name]Rose[/name]…I know [name]BOTH[/name] are not so rare but both do a great job of tying the whole name together…I personally feel that lynn flows better than rose since the end of samara ends in [name]RA[/name]
also im thinking maybe instead of spelling [name]Lynn[/name] the typical and most popular way, spelling it [name]Lin[/name], since the baby after all is half [name]Asian[/name]…[name]Samara[/name] [name]Lin[/name] Reineman
[name]Samara[/name] [name]Lin[/name] for sure! It’s sooooo much fresher spelled the Chinese way. [name]Samara[/name] means “watch mountain” - how poetic. And [name]Lin[/name] means jade, apparently.
Makes me think of Chinese ink landscape paintings of mountains seen through clouds.
[name]Samara[/name] [name]Anne[/name]
[name]Samara[/name] [name]Belle[/name]
[name]Samara[/name] [name]Blair[/name]
[name]Samara[/name] [name]Blythe[/name]
[name]Samara[/name] [name]Claire[/name]
[name]Samara[/name] [name]Day[/name]
[name]Samara[/name] [name]Faith[/name]
[name]Samara[/name] [name]Faye[/name]
[name]Samara[/name] [name]Hope[/name]
[name]Samara[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Samara[/name] [name]Jill[/name]
[name]Samara[/name] [name]Joy[/name]
[name]Samara[/name] [name]Kate[/name]
[name]Samara[/name] [name]Kay[/name]
[name]Samara[/name] [name]Leigh[/name]
[name]Samara[/name] [name]May[/name]
[name]Samara[/name] [name]Pearl[/name]
[name]Samara[/name] [name]Quinn[/name]
[name]Samara[/name] [name]Rose[/name]
[name]Samara[/name] [name]Ruth[/name]
[name]One[/name]-syllable makes perfect sense–it lets [name]Samara[/name] shine. Something like [name]Samara[/name] [name]Estelle[/name] is beautiful, but it doesn’t have the same punch or focus.
I bolded my favorites.
Also, you said [name]Asian[/name], but from where? The middle name could be a specific nod.
[name]Samara[/name] [name]Mei[/name]
[name]Samara[/name] An
[name]Samara[/name] Song
I love the strong, feminine [name]Madeleine[/name] (my preferred spelling) and classic [name]Grace[/name] as a middle name despite popularity.
Ya the more I hear it and see it and imagine myself saying it in a sentence, the more I love [name]Samara[/name] [name]Lynn[/name]/[name]Lin[/name]…so now I guess I just have to choose between the two
I love [name]Samara[/name]! I prefer [name]Samara[/name] [name]Grace[/name] to [name]Samara[/name] [name]Lynn[/name]! [name]Samara[/name] [name]Pearl[/name] would be my top choice though if I could pair it with any one syllable middle!
