I like [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Archimedes[/name_m] best. I think it flows really nicely and with you having a two syllable last name I don’t know if [name_m]Griffin[/name_m] or [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] would work as well. Not to mention [name_m]Archie[/name_m] as a nickname is really cute too

Im also Greek, personally I find [name_m]Archimedes[/name_m] too much
I feel like [name_m]Griffin[/name_m] fits [name_u]James[/name_u] better than [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u]
Have you considered [name_m]Leonidas[/name_m] (nn [name_m]Leo[/name_m]/[name_m]Leon[/name_m]) or Dimosthenis (nn Demis, Dimo, [name_m]Denis[/name_m] etc)?

[name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Griffin[/name_m] is so handsome!

[name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Griffin[/name_m]

I actually love the name [name_m]Leonidas[/name_m] (nn [name_m]Leo[/name_m]) and I have been hoping to convince my husband to use it as a first name and use my father’s name ([name_u]Michael[/name_u]) as a middle name. Unfortunately, I think the connection to the 300 movies have my husband hesitant to use it. I agree with you and I find it much more useable than [name_m]Archimedes[/name_m]. I also loved [name_m]Aristotle[/name_m] as a middle, but he shot that down as well :frowning: I’ll have to run Dimosthenis by him, but it’s a handsome name! Thanks for your input!

I like [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Archimedes[/name_m] or [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u]. They feel very different to me though. [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Archimedes[/name_m] feels like an intelligent, scholarly, reserved boy, while [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] feels cool, laid-back, and a bit devil-may-care. [name_m]Archimedes[/name_m] is the only one that feels all that Greek to me- if I heard [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Griffin[/name_m] or [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] I wouldn’t automatically think that [name_m]Griffin[/name_m] or [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] was Greek or that the boy had Greek heritage.

[name_m]Archimedes[/name_m] is intriguing and sounds fine with [name_u]James[/name_u], but it seems like way too much. [name_m]Griffin[/name_m], however, sounds terrific! [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Griffin[/name_m] is very handsome

I think James Archimedes has a really nice ring to it! I can see why some people would say it’s a bit much, but I actually love that Archimedes is so unusual because it balances well with a common first name like James.

My vote for [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Archimedes[/name_m]. Awesome middle name.

It’s very funny that you bring up [name_m]Archimedes[/name_m] vs. [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u]/[name_m]Griffin[/name_m] because my husband loves math and physics and is very reserved and I am more creative/artsy and not reserved at all. It’s amazing what name preferences say about the parents haha!
