Of all the names you are considering I love [name]Violet[/name] best and I like [name]Penelope[/name] but HATE the nickname [name]Penny[/name] which unfortunately will be what she will be called at least occasionally. The name with the best flow is [name]Imogen[/name] [name]Alice[/name] which was my vote and [name]Imogen[/name] was my second favorite. [name]Alice[/name] and [name]Hermione[/name] are both nice names but they don’t really seem to go together that well.
[name]Imogen[/name] [name]Alice[/name] is beautiful. I really liked all of them, but this just won for me
They are all equally lovely but I voted for [name]Alice[/name] as I feel it’s the most classic and also the most likely to remain so. You may be able to get people to call [name]Penelope[/name] [name]Nell[/name] or [name]Poppy[/name] or even [name]Penelope[/name], but it may just default to [name]Penny[/name] (see [name]Nina[/name] Badzin’s blog yesterday). And while [name]Imogen[/name] may be my real favorite of the day, I have the sense that it’s very de la mode and so feels a bit trendy (in of course a very high level, berryish kind of way).
