Although both are charming, I feel [name_u]August[/name_u] is different enough to the sisters’ names while also matching them seamlessly in style/classic vibes.
[name_u]Wesley[/name_u] sounds a tad more modern and, while I feel wouldn’t be totally out of place, might feel less classic than the sisters.
Thank you it’s so helpful to hear how they hit others’ ears
Both work, but I love the warmth of [name_u]August[/name_u] with your girls
I think [name_u]Wesley[/name_u] is completely timeless and ageless. When you hear it, you don’t automatically know how old [name_u]Wesley[/name_u] is. He could be any age. To me, that’s a plus.
[name_u]August[/name_u] is nice, but it’s hugely trending right now. It’s been used in the past, but not with the same overall consistency that [name_u]Wesley[/name_u] has. I’m hearing it everywhere, on everyone’s babies, and I’m afraid it’s going to feel dated to this era.
I think it’s a hard choice, both are great options!
They are both so great but I have to say [name_u]August[/name_u] flows better with the sister names to me!
I was going to choose [name_u]Wesley[/name_u], but paused when saying [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] next to [name_u]Wesley[/name_u]. They both have similar Wee/Weh sounds.
So chose [name_u]August[/name_u].
Without knowing your due date, I didn’t want to vote for [name_u]August[/name_u] - I’m that weird person that likes names to match (for example: we might be having a girl in [name_u]September[/name_u], and my hubby wants to name her [name_f]Autumn[/name_f], but I don’t know if [name_u]September[/name_u] counts as the autumn season). I don’t dislike the name [name_u]August[/name_u] though, so you certainly made it a challenging poll - and [name_m]Auggie[/name_m] might be a cute nickname!
[name_f]Georgia[/name_f], [name_f]Eloise[/name_f], and [name_u]Wesley[/name_u] … I think that’s a beautifully elegant sibset combo right there!
I actually can’t stand [name_m]Auggie[/name_m] so that’s one strike against. But I feel pretty confident if we call him [name_u]August[/name_u] others won’t just take up the nickname. And I am due in [name_u]July[/name_u]. It did occur to me that it might be weird to name a [name_u]July[/name_u] baby [name_u]August[/name_u] but I wasn’t too concerned.
