I would also suggest [name_m]Rhett[/name_m] as an alternate to [name_u]Brett[/name_u], as it feels fresher/more current.

I love love [name_m]Rhett[/name_m]! A friend used it a few years ago, so that shouldn’t matter, right? I have felt like I shouldn’t steal it.

Hmm is her’s a stand alone [name_m]Rhett[/name_m]? You could use [name_u]Everett[/name_u] or [name_m]Garrett[/name_m] and nickname him Rett/[name_m]Rhett[/name_m].

[name_m]Rhett[/name_m] is nice too. If you don’t see your friend face to face that often, it shouldn’t be a problem. But you could discuss it with her if it worries you, of course.

I voted for [name_m]Mark[/name_m] [name_u]Everett[/name_u] but I would like it even better switched around to [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]Mark[/name_m] (nn [name_m]Rhett[/name_m]). Maybe [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]Scott[/name_m] to honour your DH?

Thank you for some wonderful suggestions! [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]Mark[/name_m] or [name_m]Scott[/name_m] with nn [name_m]Rhett[/name_m] would both be great. My dad’s name is [name_m]Mark[/name_m], so that would be pretty cool.
