I voted for [name]Sabine[/name] [name]Adelaide[/name] as it just seems like the perfect sister name for [name]Jemima[/name] and [name]Estee[/name]! Second choice would be [name]Cecile[/name] [name]Adelaide[/name]. [name]Arabelle[/name] is pretty too but I’m not sure about [name]Xanthe[/name] in the middle spot. [name]Ottilie[/name] is ok but I can’t really picture her as a sibling next to your girls. All the best!

mischa thank you. What would you put beside [name]Arabelle[/name]? [name]Just[/name] out of interest if thats okay… I want something to make it a little more sparky, a little less girlie. If that makes any sense. :slight_smile:

It sounds fresh and good again too. Hahaha. I will mull it over through the day (my days are wrapped up in lists of names, no joke) and see if i still love it by the end of the day.
Hormones tend to cloud my judgement, but right now I am racking my brains for why i discarded it.
Anyway, its fun to see how the votes are balancing up!

I think [name]Arabelle[/name] [name]Juno[/name] would be a lovely pairing! I love the way they look together!

Well I love how [name]Arabelle[/name] and [name]Xanthe[/name] balance eachother out (although have to say love mischa’s suggestion of [name]Arabelle[/name] [name]Juno[/name] too). My second vote goes to [name]Ottilie[/name] [name]Sabine[/name]. I think she is quirky but elegant, just like [name]Jemima[/name] and [name]Estee[/name].
All lovely choices though, bar [name]Cecile[/name] which I’m not such a fan of…

[name]Both[/name] of my favorite names from your list you have listed as middle names. I think [name]Adelaide[/name] [name]Xanthe[/name] is lovely. I have to say though, that [name]Dulcie[/name] [name]Noemie[/name], is quite fabulous! I hope you let us know what you choose. Either way, they’re all beautiful names.

Great choices!

  1. [name]Ottilie[/name] [name]Sabine[/name] - my favourite (although [name]Arabelle[/name] [name]Xanthe[/name] is a very close second); gorgeous with your other girls.
  2. [name]Arabelle[/name] [name]Xanthe[/name] - again, this one would be lovely with [name]Jemima[/name] and [name]Estee[/name], and I like it a lot!
  3. [name]Cecile[/name] [name]Adelaide[/name] - I really like both names (especially [name]Adelaide[/name]), but it’s not as charming and unexpected as [name]Ottilie[/name] & [name]Arabelle[/name]; and as a combo it doesn’t sound as good, in my opinion.
  4. [name]Sabine[/name] [name]Adelaide[/name] - I don’t love [name]Sabine[/name]. I like it, but only in the middle name spot. Again, I think it lacks the charm of [name]Ottilie[/name] & [name]Arabelle[/name] (and lacks the potential for cool nicknames, too); and like [name]Cecile[/name] [name]Adelaide[/name], [name]Sabine[/name] [name]Adelaide[/name] has a slightly awkward ‘flow’, I think.

I don’t like [name]Dulcie[/name] [name]Noemie[/name] at all, sorry. While I don’t mind [name]Dulcie[/name], [name]Noemie[/name] to me sounds very unattractive, and the double -ie ending does not work - I think either name would need a 3+ syllable, more serious name to substantiate it. [name]Dulcie[/name] [name]Adelaide[/name] would work.

I agree with so much of what you’re saying araminta. [name]Cecile[/name] is now off the list, so its between the three other names.
I am not also looking for new middle name suggestions for both [name]Sabine[/name] and [name]Arabelle[/name] (husband needs persuading on [name]Xanthe[/name])
I have had the suggestions of [name]Evanthe[/name], [name]Juno[/name] (from poster up here!) and [name]Daphne[/name], all of which I like. Am also thinking maybe [name]India[/name]?
Any suggestions from anybody?
