Playing around with some of my GP combos at the moment. Which do you think are vaguely usable? Which work with my UC? Are there any you absolutely despise!
I love [name_f]Amity[/name_f] [name_f]Rosabelle[/name_f]! I definitely think it’s useable - it has a very historical, almost tudor-ish vibe imo. And it seems so feminine and intelligent!
I also like [name_f]Lileas[/name_f] [name_f]Cassiopeia[/name_f]. [name_f]Cassiopeia[/name_f] is one of my favourite names. I like the sound og [name_f]Lileas[/name_f], but it seems more masculine to me. Maybe with a different first name?
I’m not a fan of [name_f]Euphemia[/name_f] [name_f]Yseult[/name_f] or [name_f]Callidora[/name_f] [name_f]Opaline[/name_f]. They seem a little clunky and too much for my taste.
Thanks everyone for the votes so far! [name_f]Glad[/name_f] we seem to have a consensus on [name_f]Amity[/name_f] [name_f]Rosabelle[/name_f].
@amal2970 shame to hear [name_f]Lileas[/name_f] sounds masculine. It was a toss-up originally between [name_f]Lileas[/name_f] and [name_f]Lilith[/name_f] but the backlash [name_f]Lilith[/name_f] tends to get made me go for [name_f]Lileas[/name_f]. I like the slightly harsher [name_f]Lil[/name_f]- names, I think.
In spite of what the poll says, [name_f]Amity[/name_f] [name_f]Rosabelle[/name_f] is my least favourite - it’s perfectly nice, but doesn’t feel so exciting or magical.
The others, however…
[name_f]Callidora[/name_f] [name_f]Opaline[/name_f] is glistening and beautiful.
[name_f]Araminta[/name_f] [name_f]Idette[/name_f] is sophisticated and charming.
[name_f]Euphemia[/name_f] [name_f]Yseult[/name_f] is magical, and I get very excited seeing [name_f]Yseult[/name_f] around!
[name_f]Lileas[/name_f] [name_f]Cassiopeia[/name_f] is lovely, although I prefer [name_f]Cassiopeia[/name_f] to [name_f]Lileas[/name_f].
How would you feel abotu [name_f]Lilium[/name_f] [name_f]Cassiopeia[/name_f]?
Thanks for the breakdown! Personally, I have a soft spot for [name_f]Callidora[/name_f] [name_f]Opaline[/name_f] but I can understand why it wouldn’t be everyone’s cup of tea.
Lilium reminds me of Lithium with that spelling but I also think, realistically, it’ll get mistaken for [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] in speech anyway.
[name_f]Amity[/name_f] [name_f]Rosabelle[/name_f] definitely seems the easiest of all of these to wear, but I voted for [name_f]Euphemia[/name_f] [name_f]Yseult[/name_f] because it’s my favorite here. And while some of these are pretty uncommon, I don’t find any of the first names unusable.
