I much prefer the elegant yet gentle [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]

I prefer the flair of [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f]. It’s intuitive to spell and pronounce, but has a flowing rhythm, strong and vibe, and is just delicious to say out loud - it’s a name that was made to be announced!

I honestly love them both, but I voted for [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] because it’s been a favourite of mine since childhood.

They’re both lovely, but I adore the gentle strength of [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f]. The sound is nice, and it has (I believe) one standard pronunciation (as opposed to [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]).

Guinevere has a real air of mystery and intrigue to it. Soft and strong, and utterly beautiful :white_heart:

I love the strength of [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f]! Though I prefer the nn options of [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]…

I like them both. I love [name_f]Gwen[/name_f] better as a stand alone name and could see myself using [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] as a middle name. I like them both but find them hard to pair. I also like [name_f]Gwen[/name_f] as a nickname for [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] but not a fan of [name_f]Jen[/name_f] as a nickname for [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f].

I love [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f]. I’d use it but I have an [name_m]Arthur[/name_m].
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] is beautiful too.

Guinevere is full of mystery and magic because of the legends, and I much prefer [name_f]Gwen[/name_f] to [name_f]Gen[/name_f] as a nickname. Also, whilst I do like [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f], I wouldn’t want to get into all the pronunciation confusion/debate that comes with it!

Guinevere is a nice name, I just don’t like the [name_u]Legend[/name_u] association. [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] is lovely.

Both are so pretty, but I prefer [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]

Both are beautiful

Genevieve is more stylish, modern and elegant.

Where as [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] is more whimsical, traditional and classic.

I would probably lean more towards [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] but I do love both

I love [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f]! I think she’s a really beautiful and underrated name.

Guinevere is my favourite! It’s so soft, so melodic!

I found it hard to pick one since they’re incredibly beautiful names and I love both! I went for [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] though. (I pronounce it the usual [name_f]English[/name_f] way, which is how most people where I live would pronounce it. I actually think [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] would have more pronunciation issues in my area, due to people being unfamiliar with it.)

They’re both beautiful, but I prefer [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] for two reasons:

I like the nickname [name_f]Gwen[/name_f] much better than [name_f]Jen[/name_f]

I don’t really like soft G names, I always feel like a J would make more sense, so I tend to shy away from them altogether (the [name_f]Jillian[/name_f]/Gillian problem).

Genevieve is so exquisitely warm, but they both evoke the same lovely imagery of an Arthurian princess glowing forth from a forest.
