When you’re creating a thread, down at the bottom (AFTER the whole “Submit thread” thing, I think) there should be an option to click for there to be a poll, after you’ve created the content of your thread. When you click submit, it should take you to the post a poll page, where you will fill in your options, click if you want it to be public, have options for people to vote on more than one choice, give the poll a time limit, etc. If you just want to attach a poll to this thread, all you have to do is click on “Thread Tools” at the top of the page, and then on the “[name]Add[/name] a [name]Poll[/name]” option. From there it’ll let you create a poll, and you can edit your OP to say what you want.

thank you. when I tried that earlier it did not take me to the new page to fill out the options, weird-so I posted my message without a poll attached, I’ll try it again later, and appreciate the help!

I wish I could rename this thread so it didn’t just read poll help, but can’t figure out how- LOL-I CLEARLY have a name problem!!!but at least people are voting-thanks for the responses so far!

I voted “[name]Rosalie[/name] [name]Violet[/name] [name]Kelley[/name]” and “[name]Just[/name] call me [name]Violet[/name]!”, as I think that would be the solution I’d suggest. I’m sorry you’re not in love with your daughter’s name, but if you’d be happy calling her [name]Violet[/name], I think that would be the least messy solution. That said, it’s yours and your husband’s decision.
Thank you boyandgirl and [name]Aurora[/name] dawn, it’s definitely the least messy! I’m definitely worried about popularity w/ [name]Violet[/name]-but I think a lot of people think of the word violent so it may not skyrocket the way I fear…who knows.
