I pronounce [name_f]Leila[/name_f] Lie-la, to pronounce it lay-la I would spell it [name_f]Layla[/name_f] or [name_f]Laila[/name_f].

I pronounce it [name_m]Lay[/name_m] la like the Hawaiian lei . just makes the most sense to me.

I know two Leilas, spelled like that, and have never heard it pronounced anything other than [name_m]Lay[/name_m]-la. Think you’re in the clear with this one!

I say lay luh, but it is a slightly confusing spelling.
