my name has been either a top 10 or top 20 name since the 90s, so its basically the opposite of unique

I’ve not met anyone. I do know that someone married into the last name that has my first name. Otherwise I know of people who have my middle name & last name, but I’ve never met them.

I only know 2 people directly in real life who have the same name as me, though I do know one more who spells it differently. Though it is a relatively common name, so I know of some people that I’ve never met, plus a few celebrities and fictional characters who have it.

I’ve only met one other person named [name_f]Amanda[/name_f] when I was five and at the time she was around 20. I’ve never met another [name_f]Amanda[/name_f] around my age.

I think [name_m]Ive[/name_m] only known 1 [name_f]Amanda[/name_f]… its a very pretty name!

I’ve only met one other person with my name (spelled differently), but several people with variations and my nickname is super popular because it’s also a nickname for [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]

I’m [name_f]Bethany[/name_f], met one [name_f]Bethanie[/name_f], a couple of [name_f]Bethan[/name_f]’s and a lot more [name_f]Beth[/name_f]’s

Thanks. It has some nice nicknames too. [name_f]My[/name_f] siblings call me [name_u]Mandy[/name_u] and the funnier nickname is Panda.

Very common. [name_f]My[/name_f] first name was in the top 10 the year I was born. [name_f]My[/name_f] middle name is an incredibly popular middle name, too, so my combo is not unique at all. In fact, the neighbor girl across the street for most of my childhood had the same exact first and middle name as I did.

I’ve met somebody whose nickname is my full name, and somebody who shares my nickname, but has a different full name. do those count?

It’s a lot more uncommon for my age, it’s more popular for younger kids now but not wildly popular. I’ve never met anyone with my middle, and my last name is super rare so I’ve never met anyone with any of my names except my first who was 2 last time I saw her and I’m probably never gonna see her again
