[name_f]Catherine[/name_f] and [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] are tied for me but I chose [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] because I like [name_f]Catie[/name_f]/Cate and [name_f]Kitty[/name_f]/Kit but I don’t really like [name_f]Lizzie[/name_f] and [name_f]Beth[/name_f] and I think they may be hard to avoid. I love [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and [name_f]Libby[/name_f] though.
I love both names.

Catherine and [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] are tied for me as well haha. But I voted for [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f].

With parents who want classic or common names, I like to vote for the ones that allow for multiple nickname options, so the little one can chose how to express themselves best, especially if they know a lot of people with the same name

So many beautiful choices but I went with [name_f]Jane[/name_f]. [name_f]Jane[/name_f] is just understated, elegant and spunky. [name_f]Jane[/name_f] is a lovely choice it’s just it has a bad association for me but if the name didn’t have that association I would definitely use [name_f]Jane[/name_f].

Of these, [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] would be my first choice, though it was really close between [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] and [name_f]Jane[/name_f]. [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] would be my third choice.

Jane is the only one that I’d ever consider

I would absolutely use [name_f]Jane[/name_f] if my family didn’t use the phrase “plain [name_f]Jane[/name_f]” so often. So beautiful and simple and feminine.

Oh, that’s so hard!! Probably [name_f]Emma[/name_f] or [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] (but spelt [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f]). [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Jane[/name_f], too, though! [name_f]Emma[/name_f] got my vote, though, in the end because I adore her!

EMMA! But I also love [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_f]Anna[/name_f]!

Love all these names! [name_m]Feel[/name_m] like I’m picking which [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_u]Austen[/name_u] character I’m going to be :joy:

Ended up going with [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] but I also love [name_f]Emma[/name_f], [name_f]Anna[/name_f], & [name_f]Jane[/name_f]!

I love [name_f]Anna[/name_f]!!

Anna! I adore [name_f]Anna[/name_f], it’s feminine yet feisty and not overly frilly. Plus nn [name_f]Annie[/name_f] would be adorable on a little one

Voted for [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] because I’ve always loved it but if I had to name a child right now I think I’d go with [name_f]Mary[/name_f]! Not a popular opinion but I find it really cute. Also I find [name_f]Anna[/name_f] great but I am an [name_f]Anna[/name_f] so it wouldn’t be fair to vote for that. [name_f]Emma[/name_f] is everywhere this days. [name_f]Jane[/name_f] and [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] have never been my cup of tea as FNs.

I voted for [name_f]Anna[/name_f] because I love it. [name_f]Mary[/name_f] is also growing on me recently.

I voted [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] - great nicknames, truly classic and timeless. If popularity weren’t a factor, I would choose [name_f]Emma[/name_f], simply because I slightly prefer it.

I picked [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] because I LOVE the nn potential ([name_f]Eliza[/name_f], [name_f]Lily[/name_f], and [name_f]Ella[/name_f] are my favorites, but something like [name_f]Zibby[/name_f] or [name_f]Zizi[/name_f], [name_f]Tess[/name_f], [name_f]Tilly[/name_f], or [name_u]Izzy[/name_u] are all great too!), but I adore [name_f]Annie[/name_f] and [name_u]Kit[/name_u], so could’ve been swayed to [name_f]Anna[/name_f] or [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] too.

Even [name_f]Emma[/name_f] and [name_f]Jane[/name_f] are nice, but I prefer [name_f]Jane[/name_f] as a middle and like [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] and [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] more than just [name_f]Emma[/name_f].

If it weren’t for a bad family association, I would probably pick [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. I love the nickname [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]. I also really like [name_f]Emma[/name_f], but it is so popular right now. So I picked [name_f]Jane[/name_f].

I said [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] because it’s so pretty (favorite nicknames are [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and [name_f]Lizzy[/name_f]). I like [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] but not [name_f]Catherine[/name_f]. [name_f]Emma[/name_f] and [name_f]Anna[/name_f] are overused, [name_f]Mary[/name_f] is too old-lady sounding. [name_f]Jane[/name_f] was a close second for me though! I really like it and it’s not plain at all.

I love [name_f]Anna[/name_f]! They’re all nice though, except I’m not the biggest fan of [name_f]Catherine[/name_f].

Jane hands down. No other name on this list (or most other classics) comes close to the simplisitc, regal, loveliness of [name_f]Jane[/name_f].
