[name]Love[/name] compound names, [name]Love[/name] Aribeth, [name]Annabeth[/name], [name]Arabella[/name], [name]Clarabella[/name], [name]Anabelle[/name], Rosabel, [name]Marybeth[/name], Lyanna, [name]Liselotte[/name] and Lilabel.

I like it, though I think it might make a better nickname for [name]Lily[/name], [name]Lillian[/name], [name]Lilac[/name], etc.

I like the sound, but I would spell it Lilabelle. The simplified version just confused me I wasn’t sure how to pronounce it. But maybe that’s just me :stuck_out_tongue:

I think it’s too much. I would say it Lye-la-bell.

is it pronounced Lill-a-bel? or [name]Ly[/name]-la-bel? I think the spelling is confusing, even though I like the name. I would suggest Lillabel if it’s the former or Lylabel if it’s the latter.

I love the sound, but there’s just something odd to me about the spelling. Not sure why. I don’t think I’d have trouble with a [name]Mirabel[/name]. I don’t love the spelling Lilabelle either. Maybe Lilabell? No, that doesn’t seem right either. I’m really not sure how I would spell it! Maybe I prefer the Lilabel spelling after all!

Nope, it isn’t just you. With this spelling, my instinct is to say “lee-la-bel” and not “lye-la-bel”. For the latter, I’d spell it Lilabelle or maybe even [name]Lyla[/name] [name]Belle[/name].
I’m not a huge fan of it, though, but lee-la-bel does appeal to me more.

It looks like the words libel and label are smooshed together…[name]Lila[/name] [name]Belle[/name] is pretty, or Lillabelle is OK. Maybe Lylabelle. I think those are the two spellings I prefer.
