[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] is one of my favorites; I vote for [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Lucille[/name_f]

I went with [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] - I much prefer [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] as a first name.

Your story makes me want to vote for [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] but I am hesitant to vote for [name_f]Luci[/name_f] [name_m]Lester[/name_m]… this is a tough one!

I guess we could also spell it [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] - [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_m]Lester[/name_m]? Idk about the “i”… I am being very wishy washy about this!! I just love both of these names and am trying to make it work…

I love [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] but I think that [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] sounds so much better with your last name. Both are wonderful options because [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] are beautiful names

Thank you SO much!!

I love both names, but I prefer [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] to [name_f]Ellie[/name_f]. If she goes by her full name, I would use [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f].

I voted for [name_f]Lucille[/name_f]! [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_m]Lester[/name_m] is hard to say with the repeating E and L sounds. I prefer the softer alliteration of [name_f]Luci[/name_f] [name_m]Lester[/name_m]

This was tough! I really like both. My own great grandmother’s name was [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] so I have a positive association with it along with liking it’s sound, and [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] Ball is a fantastic person to be named after. I don’t think you can go wrong either way. I do think that “[name_f]Lucille[/name_f] [name_m]Lester[/name_m]” ends up running together out loud with all the “L” sound, but [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_m]Lester[/name_m] is really cute. I would actually prefer [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_m]Lester[/name_m] as her actual name (since the show was “I [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]” anyway) to avoid the Ls blending into each other.

I ultimately voted for [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] because [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] is just too popular a nickname these days. What about [name_f]Ella[/name_f] for [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]?

I like [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] aka [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], but I suppose [name_f]Luci[/name_f] works too. [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] is cuter and cool [name_f]IMO[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] is a great classic : ) Good [name_m]Luck[/name_m]!

[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] for me! Big brother [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] sealed it for me–[name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] and [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] are so perfect together! I like [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] more than [name_f]Lucille[/name_f], but I like [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] as a combo more than [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] (although this flows better to me). I think [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] [name_m]Lester[/name_m] and [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_m]Lester[/name_m] both have issues, flow-wise, but since they’re meaningful names I would overlook that, especially if she had a really great nn, and [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] [name_m]Lester[/name_m] sounds good to me (my favorite nn for [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] is [name_f]Lena[/name_f], but it doesn’t seem to be a popular choice, lol).

I’ve never been able to get into the nn [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], either, which also helps me love [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]. I’m not sure why, either–I love [name_f]Lily[/name_f] and [name_f]Lulu[/name_f].

Good luck!

I like [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] better but I think she should go by her middle name and still be [name_f]Ellie[/name_f]. [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] doesn’t sound right to me.

[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] and love the name [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] not a huge fan of the nn [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] or the longer [name_f]Lucille[/name_f].
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] [name_m]Lester[/name_m] would get my vote!
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] or [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] would also be adorable!
For [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] I love the full name or the nickname [name_f]Elle[/name_f] or [name_f]Nora[/name_f].
[name_u]Love[/name_u] the meaning behind the names you’ve chosen!

I love the story behind [name_f]Lucille[/name_f], so I would definitely root for that one, especially since you’ll be honouring your other grandmother as well anyway. I think they both sound just fine with the surname, and with [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m].
