I’ve been making a lot of posts about names that go well with sister [name_f]Alaska[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and brother [name_m]Isidore[/name_m] [name_u]Jude[/name_u]. These are my top four sibling names. [name_f]My[/name_f] original favorite is [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f], but I think [name_f]Mary[/name_f] is a little boring next to [name_f]Alaska[/name_f] and [name_m]Isidore[/name_m]. [name_f]My[/name_f] current favorite is [name_u]Temple[/name_u] [name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f] (named partly after Dr. [name_u]Temple[/name_u] Grandin) but is it too bold?
- [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f]
- [name_f]Arcadia[/name_f] [name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f]
- [name_u]Chauncey[/name_u] [name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f]
- [name_u]Temple[/name_u] [name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f]
I’m sorry but I do find [name_f]Mary[/name_f] to be quite boring. [name_f]Alaska[/name_f] and [name_m]Isidore[/name_m] are so gorgeous and unique, I think [name_f]Mary[/name_f] just doesn’t fit.
My favorite is [name_u]Temple[/name_u]. I wonder if the college makes it seem more usable to me? I’ve also see Dr. [name_u]Temple[/name_u] Grandin in videos before and I think she’s a wonderful namesake. [name_f]Arcadia[/name_f] is also beautiful but it’s a bit close to [name_f]Alaska[/name_f] for me which is why [name_u]Temple[/name_u] gets my vote!

Voted for [name_f]Mary[/name_f], but didn’t read that the siblings would be [name_f]Alaska[/name_f] and [name_m]Isidore[/name_m]. So I’ll change my answer to [name_f]Arcadia[/name_f].

I voted [name_f]Mary[/name_f] but none of the options seem quite right to me. I love [name_f]Alaska[/name_f] and [name_m]Isidore[/name_m]!
Some random names that came to mind:
[name_f]Saskia[/name_f]
[name_u]Meredith[/name_u]
[name_f]Prudence[/name_f]
[name_f]Ferelith[/name_f]
[name_f]Lillias[/name_f]
[name_f]Bettina[/name_f]

I really love Temple!
Someone a while back had the combo [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] [name_u]Temple[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] in their card, and it has really stuck with me as such a stunning combo, all thanks to the elegance and unexpectedness of [name_u]Temple[/name_u].
I also think [name_u]Temple[/name_u] goes best with your children’s cool and unexpected names. I agree that [name_f]Mary[/name_f] feels too plain, [name_f]Arcadia[/name_f] too “themed” with [name_f]Alaska[/name_f], and personally I think [name_u]Chauncey[/name_u] is very masculine.
There’s also Tempest, which would be super cool. Still something of a nod to [name_u]Temple[/name_u] Grandin, but picking up the S sounds from the other two names as well.
I also like @anon68906791’s idea of using a more interesting variation on [name_f]Mary[/name_f]. Other ideas might be Marigold, Mariel, Rosemary or Romary, and Mariota.

Wow, [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] [name_u]Temple[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is beautiful. I also really love the suggestions of [name_f]Marisol[/name_f], [name_f]Caris[/name_f], and [name_u]Tempest[/name_u]!!
[name_f]Arcadia[/name_f] seems perfect with your kids’ names!

[name_f]Arcadia[/name_f] or [name_u]Temple[/name_u] - voted for [name_u]Temple[/name_u] because I think I prefer it by a smidge.
Yes! I remember this combination too. It was just magical!
I’ve never forgotten it.

I voted [name_u]Temple[/name_u] [name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f]. I think it works best as a combo and with her siblings’ names.

Chauncey [name_u]Chauncey[/name_u] [name_u]Chauncey[/name_u]! If I could use it I would… it is an important honor name to me, plus such a fun name to say. [name_f]My[/name_f] partner has vetoed it a thousand times already.
Chauncey [name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f] is such a great balance between bounce and flounce and gravity.

I like [name_f]Arcadia[/name_f]! I think it’s super pretty and probably underused! I like that [name_f]Alaska[/name_f] and [name_f]Arcadia[/name_f] are both place names. Have you considered [name_f]Acacia[/name_f], just another option!

Mary [name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f] by far. I mean, [name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f] is already ALOT on its own, I wouldn’t burden the little girl with some extravagance like [name_f]Arcadia[/name_f] or [name_u]Temple[/name_u], especially with [name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f] as the middle name. It’s too much. [name_u]Chauncey[/name_u] sounds like a word more than a name to me…
Regarding the siblings names, [name_f]Mary[/name_f] and [name_m]Isidore[/name_m] sound amazing together, both elegant, underused and vintage names. The one that doesn’t really flow is [name_f]Alaska[/name_f].

Thanks so much for all your input! I still really love [name_u]Temple[/name_u] [name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f], but I agree with some suggestions that are a little more feminine! I recently read a book with a main character called [name_f]Glory[/name_f] (not a fan of [name_f]Gloria[/name_f]), what are your thoughts on [name_f]Glory[/name_f] [name_u]Temple[/name_u] [name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f], or just [name_f]Glory[/name_f] [name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f]? I like the flow of the double middles but Glory [name_u]Temple[/name_u] may sound a little bit odd.
