Nice to see Isolde’s coming out on top for the I’s! Allowing everyone to pick everything they like as opposed to picking just one favourite seems to totally change results. Gives a more accurate view of popularity in my opinion.

I could have voted for 90% of these names; your list is wonderful! Rather than select almost everything, I went for names I super love out of a great bunch or voted tactically where I guessed there’d be less love for a name I admire (e.g. Imelda and Muriel :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:).

Thankyou so much. [name_f]My[/name_f] taste seems to hover around what’s very popular, just a bit off-centre and definitely a little clunky, though there’s some names I unashamedly love that some would consider the height of boring / dated (Hannah, Sarah), some solid classics (Beatrice, [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] etc) and definitely some I love despite their current popularity (Isla, [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], [name_f]Clara[/name_f] etc). [name_u]An[/name_u] odd mix I suppose, but I’m cool with that :blush:.

[name_f]Trudy[/name_f] is fabulous. It hits that sweet spot between widely known / familiar (everyone knows how to say and spell), but very underused and uncommon. It manages to be sweet and strong simultaneously, and suits all ages. A perfect choice :heart:. You have great taste, of course I’m gonna say that when we have so many in common :blush:

Thankyou so much! No, I appreciate what you’re saying about [name_f]Jocasta[/name_f], meanings and associations sway me greatly too, I have to love a name enough to get past it and obviously this is a very subjective thing according to personal taste. I’m always surprised [name_f]Pia[/name_f] isn’t more used, but then again I think for some people Pee-er teasing potential puts them off which is fair enough. These things are always worth considering.
