I like [name]Natalie[/name] better of the two. In fact, I have [name]Natalie[/name] on my long list of favorites girl names… I only think of the [name]Eric[/name] Clapton song when I hear [name]Layla[/name]…:frowning:

I think [name]Layla[/name] sounds better with [name]Ava[/name].

Ha ha, I think that is why my husband likes that name so much! The only reason now that he wants to consider a second choice, [name]Natalie[/name] in this case, is because he mentioned it to his dad and his dad hated [name]Layla[/name]! LOL His dad is probably the only person in existence that could make him sway on something! I’m trying to involve my husband more this time around because with out first I completely took over naming, so I’m trying to let him lead this as much as possible, but I have to admit that I am kind of glad that so far [name]Natalie[/name] is the preferred choice and hopeful that by showing him the results of the poll will help to finalize his sway away from [name]Layla[/name] even though I do like the name but I prefer [name]Natalie[/name]!!

Of course [name]Natalie[/name]! It sounds more grown up and prettier than [name]Layla[/name]. Plus, [name]Ava[/name] and [name]Natalie[/name] are gorgeous!

I love the name [name]Natalie[/name], but how about a mix? [name]Natalia[/name] [name]Ann[/name]?

Thanks! I never thought of [name]Natalia[/name]. I like it, so I will definitely run it by my husband to see what he thinks too!

I, too, voted [name]Natalie[/name]. I love [name]Layla[/name]/[name]Leila[/name] (actually prefer it), but I think [name]Ava[/name] and [name]Layla[/name] are to rhymey/sing-songey together, and I personally prefer [name]Leila[/name] (which would get rid of some of the [name]Eric[/name] Clapton vibes). I am the big sister of an adorable, sweet, smart, lovey, perfect (albeit know-it-all, matter-of-fact, I’m-always-right-and-you-better-believe-it!!!) little [name]Natalie[/name] and it’s a great name. I much prefer [name]Natalie[/name] to [name]Natalia[/name], and I love the nn [name]Tallie[/name] (which I use all the time!). I love [name]Ava[/name] and [name]Natalie[/name] together–it has a older Hollywood vibe for me, a la [name]Ava[/name] [name]Gardner[/name] and [name]Natalie[/name] [name]Wood[/name].

Good luck!

I prefer the [name]Leila[/name] spelling too, but my husband liked [name]Layla[/name] better because it was spelled like it sounded. The rhyming aspect with [name]Ava[/name] was actually the reason I prefer [name]Natalie[/name] too, so hopefully I can convince my husband to go this route! We have been having so much trouble agreeing on a name with this pregnancy so far, I am just glad that I think we have made it this far finally!!! Thanks for the input and I love hearing how you talk about your little sister! Very sweet! ([name]Even[/name] if she is a know-it-all!) LOL

[name]Layla[/name] sounds better with [name]Ava[/name].

I love [name]Natalie[/name] and [name]Ava[/name] together.
