I was so smitten with [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] [name_m]Bartholomew[/name_m] but my partner isn’t so sure. He hasn’t outright vetoed [name_m]Bartholomew[/name_m] because he does like the name, but he just thinks of [name_m]Bart[/name_m] [name_m]Simpson[/name_m]. I honestly don’t think it’s that big of a deal since this would be a middle name but I’m not banking on winning him over.
So I’m trying to come up with some different ideas now.
[name_m]Cornelius[/name_m] isn’t the best with our surname in my opinion and I find the end of [name_m]Ulysses[/name_m] more matchy with [name_m]Archimedes[/name_m] than I prefer, but those are two names that I know for a fact my partner likes and they sound nice with [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] so I’m willing to compromise a little bit on the middle name.
And what variation od [name_m]Silvester[/name_m] do you like most? [name_m]Sylvester[/name_m]? [name_m]Silvian[/name_m]? [name_m]Silvano[/name_m]? [name_m]Silvain[/name_m]?
What do think? Which one of these is your favorite? Any suggestion? Hoping for something on the longer side, 3+ syllables.
Edmund [name_m]Balthasar[/name_m] popped into my mind immediately as an alternative for [name_m]Bartholomew[/name_m], so I have to vote for that. [name_m]Balthasar[/name_m] is awesome!
I also love [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] [name_m]Silvester[/name_m], and this is my favourite spelling. [name_m]Silvester[/name_m] is so underrated and it sounds great with [name_m]Edmund[/name_m].
I like [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] and [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] [name_m]Salvator[/name_m], but those may not be in the desired style.
