[name]Luke[/name] needs a longer middle name so I think [name]Luke[/name] [name]Jamison[/name] may suit.

rollo- I’ve thought about [name]Jamison[/name], but really don’t think it sounds good with our last name, since they both end in the same sound. That’s also the reason I can’t bring myself to use the name [name]Benjamin[/name], as well, even though I really like it.

rollo-I do like [name]Andrew[/name] [name]Paul[/name] and [name]Andrew[/name] [name]James[/name] (nn [name]Drew[/name]). Not a big fan of the others. [name]Just[/name] have always had a fondness for [name]Caleb[/name] and [name]Luke[/name]-- [name]Caleb[/name] especially (since I was a teenager… which was a long, long time ago : )). But got stuck with [name]Paul[/name] and [name]James[/name] as middle choices.
I can’t remember if, when we named DS, I had that “in love” feeling with his name BEFORE he was born or if I have grown INTO that feeling now that he has been here for a year and I love him so much. I think I had a few doubts about his name, too, before he got here, but DH was firm on it, so I went with it. Now I think it is the most beautiful name ever, and other’s opinions could never sway me. It’s different, I guess, when you haven’t yet met the person you are trying to name.

I too had a favourite name years before I had a baby and I understand where you are coming from. If you have loved [name]Caleb[/name] and [name]Luke[/name] for so long it would be almost inconceivable not to use them. My son’s name, [name]Miles[/name] was almost unheard of but despite it being ‘different’ we used it and it was one of the best decisions that we have ever made.
