POLL: Ophelia or Elia?

Which name do you prefer? I like [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f], but the simpler [name_u]Elia[/name_u] has caught my eye.

I’m worried it is too obscure and will always get mistaken for [name_f]Eliana[/name_f]/Ellie/Ella and I like [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] because it is less common than the oodles of [name_f]Ellie[/name_f]'s.

[name_f]Do[/name_f] you like [name_u]Elia[/name_u]? Should it be used as a nickname? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you have other nicknames for / names similar to [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]?

I’m gonna share some love for [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f].

You can always use [name_u]Elia[/name_u] as a nickname. But if she winds up in a class of oodles of Ellies, she can always go against the grain and be FiFi, [name_f]Lia[/name_f], [name_f]Pia[/name_f], Ophie.

And she is in a class with oodles of [name_f]Ellie[/name_f]’s and [name_f]Sophie[/name_f]’s, she can stand by the grace of [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]. A name I personally don’t think needs a nickname.
