I love [name]Sasha[/name] and [name]Seren[/name]!

I am actually not a fan of any of them, Sorry//

[name]Love[/name] [name]Miriam[/name]! Voted for that and [name]Sasha[/name]

I like [name]Miriam[/name] the most. [name]Sasha[/name] is also cute. Strangely I have only ever met boy [name]Sasha[/name]'s, and no girl [name]Sasha[/name]'s even though it is more popular for girls.

Thank you all so much! I’m really glad you share my love of [name]Miriam[/name]. It is hard to find people outside of nameberry who appreciate some of these names but I believe that overused names lead to overused personalities and lower expectations, and want my daughter to have something a little different but not over the top.

Thanks again!

I voted [name]Seren[/name] and [name]Miriam[/name]. I absolutely [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Seren[/name], so that gets my first vote, but the idea of a sweet, dark haired little [name]Miriam[/name] just made me smile. Surprisingly, all the Miriams I know are light-haired.

Really? [name]Miriam[/name] really does strike me as a dark haired name for some reason. Maybe that is just because I can see it on MY child, though. I can’t decide whether [name]Seren[/name] sounds more blond or dark haired. Either way, children tend to grow into their names.

[name]Miriam[/name] strikes me as dark-haired mainly due to its ethnic background: Jewish & Arabic ([name]Maryam[/name]).

I like [name]Seren[/name] too with your surname-- its on-theme without being too overt. I wish you could use both together but they really don’t flow-- however, [name]Miriam[/name] [name]Serena[/name] works nicely, as does [name]Serena[/name] [name]Miriam[/name].

I thought about [name]Serena[/name] too but it’s a little too frilly sounding for me, despite that tennis player. I think it’s the -ina sound. I can’t think of a single -ina name I like right now.

I’m really loving [name]Seren[/name], [name]Miriam[/name], and [name]Sasha[/name] pretty equally right now! Hard to pick. [name]Sasha[/name] probably has the meaning I like the least.

[name]Love[/name] [name]Miriam[/name]!!

It would be changing the meaning completely, but you could try something like [name]Solenne[/name]. [name]Miriam[/name] [name]Solenne[/name] flows very nicely.

ooooh I love that. [name]Solenne[/name]. It kind of ties into our last name too. I’m not sure about the names origins exactly but ‘sol’ is sun in spanish. And that would tie into both our last name–[name]Sky[/name]–and my first name, which everyone shortens to [name]Day[/name] (it’s an American [name]Indian[/name] hippy dippy name that is kind of out there, thanks to my wonderful mother). So [name]Solenne[/name] would fit in perfectly! Hmmmm…very pretty.

And yes, I know, my name is [name]Day[/name] [name]Sky[/name] by marriage. Laugh all you want! Haha, I do everyday.

I’m glad you like it. I think it’s ravishing, and it’s so rarely used. It’s from the Latin for “solemn” (which meant contemplative, quiet, thoughtful), and the name of a few saints.

I am so glad to see [name]Miriam[/name] love on here! I [name]LOVE[/name] it! [name]One[/name] of my favorites! I think it’s a great choice!

I liked [name]Surya[/name] the best and [name]Sasha[/name] next. Not to big of a fan of [name]Miriam[/name] because it reminds me of an old cat lady for some reason.

[name]Miriam[/name] [name]Solenne[/name] is beautiful.

My DD is [name]Miriam[/name] so this was an easy choice. I also love [name]Seren[/name] and [name]Solene[/name] (I prefer this spelling to [name]Solenne[/name], but you may be pronouncing it differently than me). We get a fair amount of compliments on [name]Miriam[/name]'s name and we haven’t met another child with the same name, but several adults with many variations ([name]Myriam[/name], Meriem, [name]Maryam[/name]…).

[name]Sasha[/name] - I like this one too. I don’t usually like unisex names, but [name]Sasha[/name] works well on a girl
[name]Dallas[/name] - nms. More masculine than your other choices.
[name]Surya[/name] - uncommon girly name that would fit in well with considering [name]Sophia[/name]'s popularity.

Best of luck.

I really like [name]Seren[/name] and [name]Sasha[/name]

I like [name]Sasha[/name] (like it spelled [name]Sascha[/name] even more) because it’s almost exotic sounding, but still familiar at the same time.

There’s nothing wrong with the meaning - definitely better than some I’ve seen! My sister’s name means “short nose” for example.
