We won’t know what we’re having for a few weeks but I’m really liking Shiloh lately. I like the (slightly ambiguous) biblical meaning, the civil war battle connection is kinda cool, and the sound is nice too. I’d like to get some impressions of Shiloh.

I wonder if [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] Jolie-Pitt is more well known on a naming site than in real life lol. I’m doubting anyone in my extended family knows of her.

Honestly this is one of my concerns with this name because I think I would guess [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] was a dog too! And not that people are really in the practice of listing their pets and children together, but which would you think was the human from this list: [name_u]Banjo[/name_u], [name_f]Fiona[/name_f], [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] 
[name_m]Ah[/name_m] well, at least they make a nice sibset with all those long O sounds.
I associate it with the Civil War battle, but it’s not necessarily a negative association, just a historical one. (Also, I live in [name_u]Tennessee[/name_u], so I probably learned more about it in school than the average person.) It was named for a church called [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u], so the biblical association is more powerful there, too.

I love love love [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u]. It’s one of my top favorite boy names. I think that it is introverted & thoughtful & gentle & nature-y but still perfectly boyish. I don’t dislike it for a girl. It has such a beautiful sound, that I’d be happy to hear it on anybody. And I do totally associate w/the Beagle, but he’s delightful & the book brings back nice childhood memories. So, it’s a good thing!

I fell in love with [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] ever since Brangelina called their daughter it, so that’s my only association. Not negative at all. I love it and it’s my top 3 if I have a girl!

another [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] Jolie-Pitt!! I remember when [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] was born, I immediately fell in love with the name. This was long before I joined naming sites!! (didnt use pronouns because I’m not sure which ones [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] currently uses!)
For your one poll, I wouldn’t assume the gender of a [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u]. I love it on any gender, and I dont think it leans any specific way!! However, I definitely do feel [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] is more human than dog
