I think [name]Isobel[/name] [name]Ruth[/name] flows better.
I know it’s super popular, but I prefer [name]Ruth[/name] [name]Isabel[/name]. That ‘o’ just kills a beautiful name for me.
I love [name]Ruth[/name], but I don’t like the [name]Isobel[/name] spelling. [name]Ruth[/name] [name]Isabel[/name] looks so much prettier.
[name]Ruth[/name] is so sweet and under used. I agree with pp that [name]Isobel[/name] [name]Ruth[/name] sounds better but [name]Isabelle[/name] is just so popular. I like the idea of [name]Ruth[/name] so much better that I think the slight preference in sound I have makes no difference.
I prefer the spellings: [name]Ruth[/name] [name]Isabel[/name] or [name]Ruth[/name] [name]Isabelle[/name]. I find them more feminine and better matching the earthy feel of [name]Ruth[/name]. [name]Isobel[/name], for me personally, better matches super frilly first names.
I do agree however, that [name]Isobel[/name] [name]Ruth[/name] sounds better than [name]Ruth[/name] [name]Isobel[/name].
I like [name]Ruth[/name] [name]Isabel[/name]/lle/a better.
