Poll: Silas and Titus too Similar?

[name_f]Do[/name_f] you think [name_m]Silas[/name_m] sounds good with [name_m]Titus[/name_m] or is it too similar? We’re thinking [name_m]Silas[/name_m] [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m].

  • Our 4 yo son is named [name_m]Titus[/name_m] [name_u]Gabriel[/name_u]. We are sticking with only biblical names and prefer more unique ones, but that still have a familiar feel.

  • Let me know if you have another good biblical boy name like [name_m]Titus[/name_m].

  • Too similar
  • They work together

Thank you!

Imo I think [name_m]Silas[/name_m] and [name_m]Titus[/name_m] as too similar together. What about [name_u]Seth[/name_u] & [name_m]Titus[/name_m]?

[name_u]Seth[/name_u]
[name_u]Eli[/name_u]
[name_m]Simon[/name_m]
[name_m]Stephen[/name_m]
[name_m]Isaac[/name_m]
[name_u]Jesse[/name_u]
[name_u]Micah[/name_u]
[name_m]Josiah[/name_m]
[name_u]Asa[/name_u]

I think they would work, but they might be a bit hard to distinguish. ([name_f]My[/name_f] dad and I both have one syllable names with “ay” in them, and we often get confused as to who is being called from another room.)

Maybe consider:
[name_u]Jericho[/name_u]
[name_u]Israel[/name_u]
[name_m]Simeon[/name_m]
[name_m]Judah[/name_m]
[name_m]Ezekiel[/name_m]
[name_u]Amos[/name_u]
[name_m]Malachi[/name_m]
