Poll: Stella Beatrice or Stella Beatrix?

We have decided on the name Stella.
Looking at either Beatrice or Beatrix for the middle. Initially, I preferred Beatrix, but when discussing the name I got so many comments along the lines of, “Isn’t that the villian from Harry Potter?” (Bellatrix Lestrange). That has kind of put me off of it.
Do you all have that connotation?

I don’t have the Beatrix->Bellatrix connotation [name_f][/name_f]- [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] feels more connections to [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_m]Potter[/name_m].

I do prefer [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] but if you’re worried [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] is also lovely :slight_smile:

I chose [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] because I think it flows slightly better with [name_f]Stella[/name_f], but I prefer [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] on its own, and [name_f]Stella[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] is also gorgeous!

(Also, I just want to say that your girls’ names are incredible.[name_f][/name_f] Ev@ngeline is my second-favorite girl name of all time and I truly believe it’s one of the most beautiful names ever to exist, so it’s such a joy to see it used. :))

I prefer [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] as a first name but [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] is lovely too [name_f][/name_f]— it softens [name_f]Stella[/name_f] a little and is a nice complement for your other girls’ more dainty middle names.

I think [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] is more fun (didn’t think about [name_m]Harry[/name_m] Potter)

[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] sounds better with [name_f]Stella[/name_f] (that’s what I voted for), but [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] matches your other sibling middles better.

[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] does always remind me of [name_f]Bellatrix[/name_f], BUT in a good[name_f][/name_f] way [name_f][/name_f]- it sounds a little magical and fantastical :sparkles:[name_f][/name_f] It also makes me think of [name_m]Peter[/name_m] Rabbit.
