[name_f]Marguerite[/name_f] is gorgeous! [name_u]Love[/name_u] it!!!
I love [name_f]Marguerite[/name_f]! [name_f]Margot[/name_f] is nice, but I think [name_f]Marguerite[/name_f] is nicer, plus you have the possibility of [name_f]Margot[/name_f] as a nickname, so you get both names! Whereas you can’t have [name_f]Marguerite[/name_f] as a nickname for [name_f]Margot[/name_f].
If we have a girl, we’ll be using [name_f]Marguerite[/name_f], if it’s not her first name it’ll be a middle name
[name_f]Marguerite[/name_f] is beautiful. It was my grandma’s birth name and also her mother’s name, but since they were living in [name_u]America[/name_u], they spelled it [name_f]Margaret[/name_f]. I only know from Ancestry.com’s birth records that it was spelled that way.
I prefer [name_f]Margot[/name_f]. I would love to like [name_f]Marguerite[/name_f] more, because of [name_f]Maya[/name_f] [name_f]Angelou[/name_f] (amazing connection) but I can’t get behind it fully. [name_f]Margot[/name_f], to me, is classy, underused, and beautiful. [name_f]Marguerite[/name_f] is more like [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] which feels more dated.
I much prefer the feminine, elegant feel of [name_f]Marguerite[/name_f]. [name_f]Margot[/name_f] is pretty, but feels spunky and clunky. I prefer feminine.
Can [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] also be a nickname for [name_f]Margot[/name_f]? I think that’s probably the biggest one for me. I really want to include a botanical name! There is a clear link for [name_f]Margot[/name_f] to [name_f]Marguerite[/name_f], and [name_f]Marguerite[/name_f] is [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] in [name_m]French[/name_m], but it only lists “pearl” as the meaning.
