Veh-rah
Veer-uh to me but I’ve come across Vair-uh too
I would say Vair-uh since I prefer that pronunciation, but [name_m]Veer[/name_m]-uh is more common where I live.
The [name_f]Vera[/name_f] I know pronounce it as Veh-rah.
I say Veh-rah, but really it depends on where she is from.
I say veer-uh, although I don’t know any Veras to check.
I automatically say vee-ra as that’s how people say [name_f]Vera[/name_f] [name_u]Bradley[/name_u] where I live. I knew one little [name_f]Vera[/name_f] (about 3 years old) who is vee-ra
I would name naturally say veer-uh but my friend just named her baby vair-uh, so that’s probably what will become more natural to me. Also Veh-ruh and Vair-uh are practically the same pronunciation in my accent, at least when used in conversation.
Veer-uh. … I never even considered there could be a different pronunciation of this name
