Okay, you guys have given me a lot of great feedback on my recent posts- I haven’t had a chance to respond to input on my recent posts but am going to go back to do so, and I appreciate the help!
We haven’t found a name we love for our second son, but I keep coming back to Watson and Webster. If you are sick of someone asking about the name Webster, that’s probably me sorry.
What are your thoughts on either as a first name? Preference between the two? Middle name combo suggestions?
Big brother is Warren Patrick.
Our last name starts with St and ends with -orer… so it can be kind of tongue twister when paired with either of these, but I also like alliteration, personally.
I like [name_u]Watson[/name_u] and [name_m]Webster[/name_m].
[name_u]Watson[/name_u] is cozy and reminds me of [name_m]Sherlock[/name_m] [name_m]Holmes[/name_m].
[name_m]Webster[/name_m] is studious sounding.
Both are a lot more interesting than [name_u]Noah[/name_u]!

I love [name_u]Watson[/name_u]! I had it on my list for baby #3 but she turned out to be a girl (Reese
).
Combos
[name_u]Watson[/name_u] [name_m]Cole[/name_m]
[name_u]Watson[/name_u] [name_u]Grey[/name_u]
[name_u]Watson[/name_u] [name_m]Graham[/name_m]
[name_u]Watson[/name_u] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m]
[name_u]Watson[/name_u] [name_m]Otis[/name_m]
[name_u]Watson[/name_u] [name_m]Ames[/name_m]
[name_u]Watson[/name_u] [name_u]Valor[/name_u]
[name_u]Watson[/name_u] [name_m]Cale[/name_m]
[name_u]Watson[/name_u] [name_u]Ellis[/name_u]
[name_m]Warren[/name_m] and [name_u]Watson[/name_u] are too close imo. I would get them mixed up. [name_m]Warren[/name_m] and [name_m]Webster[/name_m] are much more distinct from each other!

I really love both, this was a hard one!
[name_m]Webster[/name_m] is so perfect for you!

[name_m]Webster[/name_m] - very cool and charming and intriguing too!
[name_u]Watson[/name_u] is great, but [name_u]Watson[/name_u] and [name_m]Warren[/name_m] are too close for me
I prefer [name_u]Watson[/name_u], and I think it flows a lot more nicely with your last name!
Thank you! I keep coming back to it… obviously.
I think if my husband lets it marinade a while he might come around to it, but he just rated it as “a high meh” as of now. (His rating system is “no, low-end meh, meh, high meh, actually like”
).
What do you think of [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m]? I threw that one out and he actually really likes it, but I don’t know that I feel it as much as [name_m]Webster[/name_m].

[name_u]Watson[/name_u] reminds me of the character from [name_m]Sherlock[/name_m] [name_m]Holmes[/name_m], so it has a nice friendly vibe to it!
Between [name_u]Watson[/name_u] & [name_m]Webster[/name_m], I’d be inclined to vote for [name_u]Watson[/name_u], as the “st” in [name_m]Webster[/name_m] doesn’t seem to flow as well with a surname beginning with “St”. However, [name_m]Warren[/name_m] & [name_u]Watson[/name_u] sound quite similar. How about [name_m]Weston[/name_m]? (Or [name_m]Westley[/name_m] / Wesley?)
I also really like [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m], which you mentioned in your last comment. [name_m]Warren[/name_m] & [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] sound fabulous together!
I agree with @may.rose . I like both names. I would choose [name_m]Webster[/name_m] because I like the different vowel We instead of both having Wa.

I love [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m]! So sweet
I love [name_m]Warren[/name_m] and Fletcher!! [name_m]Warren[/name_m] and [name_m]Webster[/name_m] would be my pick between [name_m]Webster[/name_m] and [name_u]Watson[/name_u]
I love W names, they are so underrated! [name_u]Watson[/name_u] gets my vote. [name_f]Cozy[/name_f], studious, and familiar without being super popular. Plus, it fits well with [name_m]Warren[/name_m].
