I think I prefer the nickname Whitt over the nickname Webb, but I think Webster is cute in a quirky, clunky way and a little more unique. Webster would also have family ties for us.

For you, definitely Webster!! I think that [name_m]Warren[/name_m] and [name_m]Webster[/name_m] are so cute together in kind of a clunky-vintage way, and [name_m]Webb[/name_m] is just darling and so unique!!

[name_m]Webster[/name_m] just makes me think of spiderwebs and dictionaries. If you are into old, dusty library aesthetics, then go for it! [name_m]Whittaker[/name_m] is nice for the nickname [name_u]Whit[/name_u]!

Definitely [name_m]Whittaker[/name_m]! [name_u]Whit[/name_u] is such a fun nickname, too. [name_m]Webster[/name_m] is okay, but it just makes me think of spiders and dictionaries. I also don’t think [name_m]Webster[/name_m] is more unique or quirky. Both names have never been in the top 1000 most popular names in any country, and sound equally unexpected to me!

They’re about on par, for me…

Definitely agree with this, re Webster:

And although I like the concept of the nickname “Whitt”, I find it a bit tricky to say… is it pronounced “wit”, like the word, or “whit”, with an audible “h”?

I have a son named [name_m]Whitaker[/name_m] (only one T because it’s a family name) and he’s almost always called [name_u]Whit[/name_u]. Nearly everyone says it like Wit; a very few pronounce the H. People love his name!
