This was difficult! I love [name_u]Sage[/name_u], [name_f]Aurora[/name_f], [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] and [name_u]Vivian[/name_u], but I voted for [name_u]Sage[/name_u]. It’s so simple but so pretty.

(When I saw the title of this thread my brain immediately wanted to say “Caecilius” :joy: high school Latin, anyone?)

Thanks for the heads up! I checked a couple of sources because some names do have conflicting origins. This was one that came up a few times as both. I’ve modified the poll.

I voted for [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] but it was really hard to pick! Maybe you should do Irish or [name_f]English[/name_f] next?

Is [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] Latin? I’ve always heard that it was a form of [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]/Elisheva (thus I’d consider it Hebrew?). You already know I’m voting for [name_f]Aurora[/name_f], but I do love [name_f]Julia[/name_f], [name_u]Vivian[/name_u], [name_f]Poppy[/name_f], [name_f]Grace[/name_f], and [name_f]Amelia[/name_f].

[name_f]Lillian[/name_f] is a name formed by a Latin root word. A lot of Latin names are characterized by their root words.

My favourite isnt in there. I love [name_f]Verity[/name_f] taken from the Latin Veritas which means truth.

I think [name_f]Julia[/name_f] is just the most impeccable classic there is, but I also love [name_f]Valentina[/name_f], [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] and [name_u]Sage[/name_u] from this list.
