Hello, and thank you all for your feedback the past couple days! My wife and I have decided to pick about 3 names we really love and choose once we meet the baby! Which one of these combos is your favourite? Also, I’d really appreciate it if you could tell us what you think of the names, I suppose like a review? I like them all but most struck by [name_f]Philippa[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] (including for nn potential of [name_f]Peach[/name_f] plus all the others, [name_u]Pip[/name_u], [name_f]Polly[/name_f], PJ etc - and it’s just fresh and happy); [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Francie[/name_f] (what a confident, literary sounding name!) and [name_f]Ismay[/name_f] [name_u]Florence[/name_u] (for a more dreamy, frilly feel)…

How am I meant to pick one from all these lovelies!!?

I picked [name_f]Ismay[/name_f] [name_u]Florence[/name_u] in the end! It’s familiar but distinctive with lovely nickname potential, a little mystical and magic, stylish with a hint of vintage too :slight_smile:

Some thoughts:

[name_f]Philippa[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] - classic, strong and lovely with great nn potential

[name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f] - cute and zippy but strong too

[name_f]Philippa[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] - charming, balanced and bright

[name_u]Florence[/name_u] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] - vintage, sweet and stylish

[name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Francie[/name_f] - it’s okay, not my favourite though

[name_f]Cara[/name_f] [name_f]Niamh[/name_f] - lovely sound and meaning too!

[name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] - simple, sweet and cute

[name_f]Harriet[/name_f] [name_u]Blythe[/name_u] - bright, vintage and classic - [name_f]Hattie[/name_f], [name_f]Etta[/name_f] and [name_f]Ettie[/name_f] are wonderful options

[name_f]Ottilie[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] - stylish, balanced and lovely

[name_f]Ottilie[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] - quite nice, but [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] feels more balanced and has nicer flow

[name_f]Ismay[/name_f] [name_f]Philippa[/name_f] - cute and balanced between classic and unexpected. I prefer [name_f]Ismay[/name_f] [name_u]Florence[/name_u] though

[name_f]Lyra[/name_f] [name_f]Francie[/name_f] - love [name_f]Lyra[/name_f] and [name_f]Francie[/name_f] is growing on me here! [name_f]Lyra[/name_f] [name_f]Francie[/name_f] is fun and sparky

[name_f]Phillipa[/name_f] [name_f]Sadhbh[/name_f] - I do enjoy both names but there’s a heaviness about it that means it doesn’t quite sing like your others

Actually, the “daisy chain” sound is what made me pick this name as an option! I think it’s adorable.

I love [name_f]Philippa[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]! I agree with @Greyblue that it’s very balanced. [name_u]Strong[/name_u], classic, but also bright and happy. [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] would be my second pick for many of the same reasons.

I like a few of your other names individually (Lyra, [name_f]Ismay[/name_f], Francie) but not loving the combos. [name_f]My[/name_f] third choice would be [name_f]Cara[/name_f] [name_f]Niamh[/name_f] which I love but it does strike me as a bit different stylistically from the rest of your list.

I voted for [name_f]Phillipa[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] (due to uniqueness and nickname potential with the middle name I like the most/think flows best) but it was a really hard decision between that and [name_u]Florence[/name_u] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] (I love [name_u]Florence[/name_u] its on my own list and love the nickname potential also really like [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] as its middle even though its not one I considered but I guess it could be another one the throw on the list amongst my current debacle between [name_u]Florence[/name_u] [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] and [name_u]Florence[/name_u] Georgia), other ones I like (even though I wouldn’t use them as they are too popular for me or not my style) [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f], [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] and [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] [name_u]Blythe[/name_u]

These names are just gorgeous! They give me old english cottage vibes, and I am living for it! I’m not usually the biggest [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] fan, but [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] [name_u]Blythe[/name_u] is absolutely stunning and I had to vote for her!I also love [name_u]Florence[/name_u] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] for you!
