I wouldn’t use [name]Griffin[/name] due to the double-Gs nor [name]Tobias[/name] due to the repetitive S ending.
[name]Xavier[/name] sounds great, especially wi the 3 (or 2.5) syllable pronunciation, and I like [name]North[/name] both for imagery and the 3-1-2 syllable count without any repeated sounds.
Thank you, tfzolgdadr & blade! I worry about [name]Tobias[/name]'s ending, too, but my SO still loves it and doesn’t see the issue as his name ends in s. I’m not as concerned with the GG initials because I like the alliteration. I appreciate the feedback!
I voted for [name]Bruno[/name] and [name]Abram[/name], because I like them best on their own. The only one I would avoid is [name]Tobias[/name], because the ending is so similar to Gaw-ris. I’m not a fan of [name]Xavier[/name], but I think [name]Xavier[/name] [name]Noble[/name] flows the best.
I voted for [name]Wyatt[/name] and [name]Xavier[/name] but really love [name]Tobias[/name]. I understand [name]Tobias[/name] Gaw-ris is a little S heavy. [name]How[/name] about [name]Tobiah[/name]?
aillidh, boyandgirl, elizabeth_rose, bonnilyn: thanks for your feedback! [name]Every[/name] comment is helpful. My SO and I each have favorites and this helps us both tremendously You know, perspective. Thanks to everyone who has voted so far, too!!
[name]Love[/name] [name]Bruno[/name], that gets my vote by far. [name]Griffin[/name] Gawris sounds fine to me, I have no problem with alliteration, but [name]Tobias[/name] Gawris sounds a little bit rhymey to me, unless you’re likely to call him [name]Toby[/name] - [name]Toby[/name] Gawris sounds fine. Not a fan of [name]Wyatt[/name] or [name]Abram[/name], they’re just not my style at all.
Thank you, essjay! I appreciate your comments :). We would call him [name]Toby[/name] when he was younger but I like him having the option to use [name]Tobias[/name] as an adult. Isn’t [name]Toby[/name] the cutest?
