Hi there. Great list!
Here is my favorite to least favorite rankings:
Beatrix-I love it so much. It’s a beautiful combination of bold, spunky, feminine, vintage, romantic, simple & unique. And it has cute nns of [name_f]Bea[/name_f], [name_f]Bess[/name_f], [name_f]Bette[/name_f] or [name_f]Trixie[/name_f].
Felicity-I love this too! It’s so cheerful, but also sort of bookish & elegant. It’s fairly simple & fairly uncommon.
Nora-It’s smart & elegant. Simple, old fashioned, & just has a warm beautiful vibe. It’s pretty popular though. I hear this a ton in my area.
Louise-This is really cute & unexpected. Kind of geeky in a fun spunky way. Again, you don’t hear it much, but it’s really well known. And then there’s [name_f]Lulu[/name_f] as a nn, which is lovable.
Camille-I like it. It’s smart & feminine w/out being frilly. I don’t care for [name_f]Cami[/name_f], which is maybe unavoidable? The nn [name_f]Millie[/name_f] is fun.
Henrietta-It’s honestly not my cup of tea, but it’s really different & has great old fashioned charm. [name_u]Love[/name_u] the nn [name_f]Hattie[/name_f].
Harriet-Same as above, but I think [name_f]Henrietta[/name_f] sounds a little prettier.
Helen-I want to like this, because it’s smart & sleek & old fashioned. I just don’t like the ‘hell’ part. I do love the possibility of the nn [name_f]Nellie[/name_f].
Ivy-It’s kind of cute & I like the botanical imagery. But when I say it out loud, it reminds me of I.V.s.
Florence-I’m in the minority here, but I don’t care for this. It sounds stuffy. I prefer the softer [name_f]Flora[/name_f].
Ophelia-I kind of like the sound, but it just sounds over dramatic & just not my favorite.
Alessia-It’s okay. Seems a little too close to all of those popular ‘[name_u]Allie[/name_u]’ names of the 80s & 90s like [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f], [name_f]Alison[/name_f], [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f], etc.
Delilah-This just sounds like a snobby cheerleader girl to me. I can’t get on board. [name_m]Even[/name_m] though I like [name_f]Lila[/name_f] & [name_f]Delia[/name_f], so go figure.
Nina-Meh, this is kind of a personal thing, but it’s not my style. Sounds like a mean girl.
Hope this helps.
