hopefully I did this poll right and it actually works. Lol
DH and I really like both of these names. Our last name starts with a D and is 2 syllables. We want to keep the name a secret until birth so we don’t get any negative reactions from family but would love some input.

That’s what I’m afraid of with the name [name_m]Baron[/name_m]. We got the name from my husband’s mom. That was the other name she was going between to name DH when he was born. We have also tossed around [name_m]Archie[/name_m] [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m].

Archie Nathaniel is cute though!! Archie Parker would be nice, too. Generally speaking though, i’m not sure how i feel about Archie as a full name - i prefer Archer nn Archie

That is a sweet reason to use the name! Maybe youd like [name_u]Barrett[/name_u] or [name_m]Barnett[/name_m]? It still honors the name [name_m]Baron[/name_m], but puts your own spin on it.

[name_m]Baron[/name_m] is a cool middle name. Some people may have a Trump association with it, just pointing that out. You could do [name_m]Archie[/name_m] [name_u]Parker[/name_u] if you’re unsure about [name_m]Baron[/name_m]. [name_u]Or[/name_u] maybe [name_m]Archie[/name_m] [name_m]Aaron[/name_m]?

With [name_f]Meghan[/name_f] and [name_m]Prince[/name_m] Harry’s son having that name I think your boy will be fine. depends on your country

Baron has strong Barron Trump association for me as it’s the only Baron/Barron I know of, I’m not sure if that is an issue for you. If you don’t live in the US then ignore this
that, plus the closeness to the word barren (when referencing a woman), is why I dont like the name!
Not a fan of [name_m]Baron[/name_m] or [name_m]Rhett[/name_m] sorry. If they were options, my votes would be for [name_m]Archie[/name_m] [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m] and [name_m]Archie[/name_m] [name_u]Parker[/name_u].
We live in the US and the Trump association is definitely not a problem for us. 
I do think like the other said that the word “barren” is more of an issue for me.

The only thing with [name_m]Archie[/name_m] for me is does it grow well? Sounds just a little [name_u]Nick[/name_u] namey imo.
And for [name_m]Archie[/name_m] [name_m]Baron[/name_m] I think of the [name_u]Red[/name_u] [name_m]Baron[/name_m]. Sorry so many individual comments lol …
Hahaha. I know right. That was my first thought when DH said it. I was like “like the pizza?!?” 
And I’ve definitely had the same thoughts about [name_m]Archie[/name_m] sounding more nick name. We thought if he doesn’t like it when he gets older and career minded, he could maybe go by [name_m]Arch[/name_m]?
