Poll: Which 'Ro' Name?

Female Name [name_u]Poll[/name_u].
[name_f]Rosabelle[/name_f]- meaning beautiful rose
[name_f]Robella[/name_f]- meaning bright fame
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]- meaning rose
[name_f]Robelle[/name_f]- meaning bright fame
[name_f]Rochelle[/name_f]- meaning little rock in [name_m]French[/name_m]
[name_f]Rosella[/name_f]- meaning rose
[name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]- meaning gentle horse
[name_f]Rosetta[/name_f]- meaning rose

1 [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]
2 [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]
3 [name_f]Rosetta[/name_f]
4 [name_f]Rochelle[/name_f]

I don’t really like any of the remaining “[name_f]Ro[/name_f]” names.

[name_f]Rosabelle[/name_f] - feels a bit trendy given the -[name_f]Belle[/name_f]/[name_f]Bella[/name_f] name prominence. I’d imagine a spoilt daddy’s girl type character with this name.
[name_f]Robella[/name_f] - reminds me of the disease Rubella, sorry. Wouldn’t use at all.
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] - Pretty, I’d imagine a rather smart, clever girl by this name.
[name_f]Robelle[/name_f]- Reminds me of roubles, the Russian currency.
[name_f]Rochelle[/name_f]- Nice enough, though it’s always going to be a [name_m]French[/name_m] place name (La [name_f]Rochelle[/name_f]) to me.
[name_f]Rosella[/name_f]- Feels a bit made up, with the -ella trend.
[name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] - I like this, I’d imagine someone quite well off, but quite friendly and studious by this name.
[name_f]Rosetta[/name_f]- Reminds me of [name_f]Rosetta[/name_f] [name_m]Stone[/name_m] language teaching.

Top 3:

[name_f]Rosabelle[/name_f]- I agree it sounds trendy what with [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]/[name_f]Anabelle[/name_f]/etc.
[name_f]Robella[/name_f]- Also sounds trendy, and looks like a smoosh to honor a [name_m]Robert[/name_m] and an [name_f]Ella[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]- My favorite.
[name_f]Robelle[/name_f]- [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t really like it
[name_f]Rochelle[/name_f]- Not bad, not great. This is my sister’s middle name.
[name_f]Rosella[/name_f]- Nice enough but NMS
[name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]- This one’s okay.
[name_f]Rosetta[/name_f]- It’s pretty but it just brings to mind [name_f]Rosetta[/name_f] [name_m]Stone[/name_m].

  1. [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]
  2. [name_f]Rosetta[/name_f]
  3. [name_f]Rosella[/name_f]
  4. [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]

I also like [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f], [name_f]Rochelle[/name_f], and [name_f]Rosetta[/name_f].

[name_f]Robella[/name_f] sounds like rubella, as in mumps, measles, and rubella – which would be a lovely name, if it wasn’t the name of a disease.

[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] are the only two I like. However, I say [name_f]Roz[/name_f]-alind, so technically it isn’t a [name_f]Ro[/name_f] name.
[name_f]Rosalyn[/name_f] would be a [name_f]Ro[/name_f] name.

My favourite out of these as [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] but simple [name_f]Rose[/name_f] or [name_f]Rosa[/name_f] would be preferred. More [name_f]Ro[/name_f] names are:

[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] or [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] but I much prefer [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] or [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] is gorgeous though.

Well tbh I would go for [name_f]Roisin[/name_f], but out of your list: [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] or [name_f]Rochelle[/name_f]. The others just sound like [name_f]Rose[/name_f] + generic female suffix.

I like [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] the best. [name_f]Rochelle[/name_f] is okay too. Have you considered [name_f]Rosamond[/name_f]?

I agree with all the previous posters about [name_f]Robella[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosabelle[/name_f].

  1. [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]
  2. Rosabella

[name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] I love but it’s pronounced Rahz-a-lind.
I also like [name_f]Rosamond[/name_f] or [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f].
Good [name_m]Luck[/name_m]!

Thanks guys! It helped a lot. I think I’ll go with [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f].

I like [name_f]Rosabelle[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] the best.

My favorite is [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], but I also like [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f].
But I also really like [name_f]Rosaline[/name_f], which wasn’t an option.

  1. [name_f]Rochelle[/name_f]
  2. [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]
  3. [name_f]Rosella[/name_f] (but I like [name_f]Roselle[/name_f] better)
  4. [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]
  5. [name_f]Rosetta[/name_f]

I [name_f]LOVE[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]!! It has a soft, girly sound to it that I love.
