it definitely depends how you’re pronouncing them, but i lean towards yes either way.
eye-la + lye-la (how i default pronounce both of these) → definitely too close, no chance
ay-la + lye-la → also too close, but i kind of get it
ay-la + lee-la → again too close, but again i kind of get it ??
eye-la + lee-la → you could probably make it work?? i lean towards “too close” here but that’s really a matter of preference

Definitely, imo. Many people will pronounce [name_f]Ayla[/name_f] the Turkish way, to rhyme with [name_f]Lila[/name_f]. But even if [name_f]Ayla[/name_f] is ail-a, tbh I still think it’s too close.

While they’d be matchy, since you’re using the ay-luh pronunciation, technically, no, not too close - however, the fact it can be pronounced eye-luh and might be pronounced so would stop me using them for real life sibs

I had no idea some people pronounce [name_f]Ayla[/name_f] as Eye-La - interesting!! That does change things in my mind

IMO if you spell Ayla like that, it’s going to get pronounced Aye-la by 98% of people just FYI…

[name_f]My[/name_f] little girl is called [name_f]Lyla[/name_f] and I also loved [name_f]Ayla[/name_f] (but pronounced eye-la) and [name_f]Isla[/name_f]. I knew when I named her [name_f]Lyla[/name_f] that my other faves would have to go. It’s a shame, they’re all such lovely names, but yes I think it’s too close.
I know sisters names [name_f]Aly[/name_f] and [name_f]Lily[/name_f] and while they are very similar, it works ok. I see these being the same way.

Eye-la would be my instinctive pronunciation for [name_f]Ayla[/name_f] (midwest US dialect)

Mine too, I’m in the UK. I’d pronounce [name_f]Isla[/name_f], [name_f]Ayla[/name_f] and [name_f]Eila[/name_f] identically.
