I know this is an old post but I just had to comment. I have always been obsessed with the name Pompeii. I actually wanted to name my daughter Pompeii when I had her In 2016, but we went a different route. I have still been obsessed with it and find the history behind it fascinating, it is tragic but I think it’s a beautiful name for a girl. If I end up having a girl soon I plan on naming her Pompeii.
