Popularity aside...which is your favorite?

[name]Bridget[/name] or [name]Kathryn[/name]/[name]Catherine[/name] (no nicknames, except at-home ones…until she decides on her own  )

[name]Catherine[/name] nn [name]Cat[/name] ( like [name]Cat[/name] Deeley)

[name]Catherine[/name]. [name]Bridget[/name] sounds harsh to me.

[name]Bridget[/name]. I like the harder sounding consonants in it,gives the name strength.

[name]Catherine[/name] is my favorite.

Oooh, hard one. I have to go with [name]Catherine[/name]. I just never get tired of this one. [name]Bridget[/name] is also fantastic though and not very popular.

[name]Catherine[/name]! I love the nn [name]Bridie[/name], but I just can’t seem to get behind [name]Bridget[/name]–there’s something about it that puts me off. I adore [name]Catherine[/name], though, and many of its nns ([name]Kit[/name], [name]Kate[/name], [name]Wren[/name], [name]Erin[/name], etc.).

[name]Catherine[/name]. And I really like [name]Cate[/name]

I prefer [name]Bridget[/name]!

[name]Catherine[/name]. [name]Every[/name] time.

If you spell it [name]Katherine[/name], then I vote for that. I’m not fond of [name]Kathryn[/name] or [name]Catherine[/name]. Otherwise, I like [name]Bridget[/name] better. [name]Both[/name] great names though.

I like [name]Bridget[/name] better without nicknames.
I prefer [name]Kate[/name] as a nn over [name]Bridget[/name]. But I like [name]Bridget[/name] better than [name]Kathryn[/name]/[name]Catherine[/name].

[name]Catherine[/name]!

If popularity wasn’t an issue, I would use [name]Catherine[/name]. I am a cat lover and I thought having a little girl named [name]Cat[/name] would be cute.

I love them both! [name]Kathryn[/name] vs [name]Bridget[/name]:I’d say definitely [name]Bridget[/name]. [name]Catherine[/name] vs [name]Bridget[/name]: I lean towards [name]Catherine[/name]

I like [name]Bridget[/name]

While I have high esteem for [name]Catherine[/name], I’d go with [name]Bridget[/name] as the first name. The combo [name]Bridget[/name] [name]Catherine[/name] would be wonderful.

[name]Catherine[/name]. So classic and beautiful, and lots of nn possibilities!

[name]Catherine[/name]. More classic…which I love.

I like the nickname [name]Cate[/name].

[name]Bridget[/name] definitely. [name]Birdie[/name] is an adorable nn, and I feel it’s a stronger, more unique name, and has a beautiful meaning. [name]Catherine[/name]/[name]Katherine[/name]/[name]Kathryn[/name], etc, I can’t stand. I have never met a nice one, and I think of catheters when I hear it. Unpleasant. It’s numero uno on my Over My Dead Body list.
