So I have a porta cot and I need some new sheets for the little mattresses, one wouldn’t think it would be difficult to buy them ppremade in the states where it seems everything is available, they need to be
66 cm x 91 1/2 cm x 2cm but they literally are no where. That’s 26 x36 inches… I just want some cotton sheets, I mean organic ideally but I would settle for cotton, I would love flannel or some woven sheets but would settle for jersey knit … but they are stretchy and I worry about that on those little mattresses so ideally something solid, even muslin… I’m debating making some at this point, my search yields nothing. Does anyone know any secrets they can share for finding them, preferably online? I want between 2-4 fitted sheets and I don’t want to spend a fortune, honestly I would love to link them to the baby registry as I have very little on there but I wont shy away from just ordering the right ones… I know a girl who will make them or I can make them but how lovely to not have to…
You could always fold up a single sheet, and tuck it around. My Mum has done that - worked fine. But obviously it’s a bit of a last resort. [name_f]Hope[/name_f] you find something soon.
I have found some that are 27x39 and 24x38, but those are the only sizes I’m really seeing. Think either of those might work?
We do need the sheet to fit tightly and securely but thank you both for looking into options I really appreciate it. I have like one sheet per cot and I cannot figure out why no one suddenly makes these at all… so strange… I’ve never used them as actual beds before, just as travel gear and occasional naps so I never really needed sheets before. I might have missed my chance to buy them I guess, I find it very odd that they’ve changed the size and shape of these things so much in just a few years. I think I’m going to contact the company and if that doesn’t work I will make some sheets…
